Somebody, it seems, has noticed !!

Renaldo Wynn was not happy to hear that the NFL.com online store was marketing memorabilia to celebrate the NFC East champion New York Giants -- even though the Giants, who play the Raiders in Oakland on Saturday night, haven't yet won the division title, and could still lose it to the Redskins this weekend.
The NFL.com team shop is selling Giants NFC East Champion T-shirts for $19.99, fitted caps for $21.99.
The Redskins were steamed that the Giants had delivered boxes of hats and T-shirts commemorating the title to FedEx Field before Saturday's game. Had New York won Saturday, the Giants would be named NFC East champions. The delivery was customary, but Wynn and his teammates were nonetheless offended.
"That's completely wrong," he said. "I know they had their little package delivered to FedEx last week, too. But that's just not right."

The NFL wouldn't lose money either way. It's like all those Buffalo hats that say Super Bowl Champions on them.Chris Luva Luva wrote:I'll laugh heartily if the NFL loses money on this. The bias against the Skins will pay off for us!
Send em off to the Middle East
"He's a playmaker, that's his label. They used to have strong safeties, but now they got another position: They're called playmakers." -Terence Newman on Roy Williams
This is crap. Now I'm seriously rooting for Kerry to have a couple of pre-game drinks and sling that ball all over the gnats!
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."
