Rogers will start After replacing Walt Harris in the second quarter of the 23-17 loss to San Diego, rookie Carlos Rogers will start ahead of the 10-year veteran against St. Louis' top-ranked passing attack Sunday. "We knew at some point Carlos would be the guy," secondary coach DeWayne Walker said. "I think he appreciates not being thrown to the wolves."
Hopefully, he breaks out in his rookie season, like Sean did for us last year. Some INTs over the next five weeks will certainly help this team get to 10-6.
Finally, we actually have two capable CBs on the field!!! Rogers seems to be ready for some real action.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....
~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

I don't know if it's excitement about seeing what Rogers can do in a game where he starts, or massive disappointment in Harris, but I'm amped about the CB position this week, especially against the Rams' third string QB.
R.I.P. Andrew McDonough 9/3/92 - 7/14/07. Love & miss you, #20.

YES, this is so great. I want him to get a pick so bad tomrow, and this is a good time to get it against a rookie qb
" But you should've seen Joe (Gibbs) when they said he couldn't coach anymore...his chest puffed out and said..i dont care what it takes, were not leaving here without another ring." Coach Joe Bugel
We really need some turnovers. After last weeks game, Rogers showed he got the skills to go after the ball. I hope he doesnt take any tackling tips from Harris.
