Things to see at FedEx Field / Gameday Activities

Post by Boltfan »

I'm a lifelong San Diegan, but am lucky enough to be in DC this week and was able to buy a ticket to the Redskin-Raider. While I'm a Charger fan first, I've always been a huge NFL fan, and have always thought that attending a game in Washington would be a great experience.
I am curious as to any interesting pre-game activities, interesting tailgate areas, or in-stadium areas that I should be sure to check out. I'd love to get the whole experience of seeing a Redskin game.
Also -- any advice on parking? Or is it better to take Metro?
Thanks much for any info you may have (and don't worry, as a die-hard Charger fan, I have an unwavering hatred of the Raiders, so I'll be cheering loud for the 'Skins this weekend).

We have a tailgate page you can check out.

Here's our tailgate spot.

I have a green pass for ya if you want it.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

Yeah, I know I'm here a week too early, but couldn't convince the boss the put the project off a week...too bad.
Anyways, thanks for info, I'll try to check out that site. I'm looking forward to seeing FedEx Field - can't wait for Sunday.
Thanks again!
