Ryan Clark
This really doesnt have too much to do with the eagles game...but i really like this guy. I had no idea that we cut him last year..he just seems like a very humble guy who appreciates what he has and that is a very rare thing in the NFL. Just sharing with you guys...

According to his post game interview and a press conference earlier this week we did.
Actually what happened Rusty is the Post released his name on the cut list prior to him actually being cut. And either it was a mistake or the Redskins felt bad for the kid so they kept him on a bit longer. He did read about it in the paper before he heard. lol But while hanging on to him he managed to show his worth. And not only this game but I noticed the kid really making an effort in the Giants game. He's one of my recent favorites and his ability to remain humble while scaring the heck out of receivers is only one reason I like him.

Homer: "No Flanders, it's a meeting of gay witches for abortion , you wouldn't be interested!"

I think he is refering to this...

But does that really count
Much of 2002 was spent on the practice squad -- he appeared in just six games -- and although Clark started 11 games in 2003 he was cut the following spring by the incoming coaching staff. That summer Clark was working as a liaison for LSU alumni in the NFL, checking to see if they needed tickets or memorabilia from the school, when the Redskins called. He was signed on the first day of training camp, presumably just to fill out the roster, and ended up making the team.

I tried to tell yall he was gon beat Bowen for the starting position. Remeber those page long debates?
When I went to camp I got his signature and that was my 1st professional signature ever. I quietly told him that I believed that he was going to beat everyone out for the starting spot and he told me that whatever is in Gods will would suffice for him.
That really struct me and I was so awe struck by his humility and thankfulness to play a game he loves.
On top of all those great personality traits he's a heck of a player@!
