It seems like it is almost hypocritical that there are convicted drug dealers/users and other felons in the league, yet when something like this occurs to the cheerleaders they are fired. Was this the right move?

Absolutely. Cheerleaders are easily replaced, and, I beleive, are not part of a union that would block their dismissal.

If you are the Carolina Panthers organization (one that makes its home in the Bible Belt at that) I'm not sure how you'd justify NOT firing them.

Absolutely! Those lovely cheerleaders should have other job offers by now anyways. Probably in the porn industry wanting to "recreate" what started the whole thing.

Since they cut them before June 1, it will be accelerated onto this year's cap, so I'd guestimate
at least 250 dollars.
