lyrics to hail to the redskins

Post by tnathan »

i learned the words to hail to the redskins in grade school... and it's funny (or weird)... i remember the lyrics we learned to be different from those on this site. by "different" i mean a lot more racist. if i remember right, instead of "beat 'em, swamp 'em touchdown
let the points soar,"
i remember being taught something along the lines of
"scalp 'em, swamp 'em, touchdown
we want 'heap more"

did anybody else ever hear those lyrics?
were they changed to be less offensive at some point?
"rarely does a man have greater heroes than the champions of his youth."

Did you check out the How to Sing the Fight Song movie on the Fun Zone page ?!?

I think I put the original lyrics somewhere in the little history section too.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
