... just listened to Andy Reid's Friday press conference over at http://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/
Reid was very calm and stoic as usual... and offered little insight into the T.O situation except to say that he would deal with it 'in-house'.
Here's a brief summary of some of the things he said...
... on injuries...
Kearse, Akers and McNabb all practiced.
T.O practiced too...
Concerned about T.O?
Take care of it in-house, hasn't had opportunity to talk to him yet
Then one of the media added that Akers has stated that T.O's outbursts have become a problem and was Reid concerned about the dressing room 'mood'. Reid said that he wasn't.
Regret bringing T.O here?
I don't look at it that way.
Would you suspend him?
We'll see how it goes... we're still in the process of working it all out. It's between T.O and myself.
Distraction on the field?
You don't let it bother you... you concentrate on the Redskins. Concentrate on getting the team ready to play.
From a football perspective, how has T.O performed?
He's done a nice job. I don't think anyone would say differently.
Not much more... everyone kept trying to prod for more info about T.O and Reid just kept saying that they'd look after it internally

Reid's Press Conference
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
The PC was like a half hour late.
WHen it ended, there was a rumor that Owens was going to address the media. I was listening on philadelphiaeagles.com and I thought Dave Spadaro was going to crap himself trying to get the video back up.
Owens went to the podium and read from a prepared statement.
"I've had an opportunity to talk with the Eagles organization and I have learned that the team does not recognize individual achievements.
"It has been brought to my attention that I have offended the organization and my teammates. Therefore, I would like to apologize for any derogatory comments toward them."
Then he left. No further talk. No answering of questions.
It's a circus. The Eagles are a laughingstock right now.
