Leo Mazzone

Post by Fios »

Here are the two plausible scenarios (were I running the Braves) under which Leo Mazzone would leave:

1. He died and trotting his decaying corpse out to the mound was becoming difficult
2. He started advising pitchers to "just roll it up there"

There is no human being alive who deserves Leo LESS than Peter Friggin Angelos ... and I don't even like the Braves

I hope the O's do get him. They need pitching help badly.

This is one of the smartest moves that the O's have made in a long time. He can take average pitchers and get them to pitch at a higher level then ever did before, and he is a local guy. Plus it is rummered that the O's intend to be big players in the free agent market this year.

Apparently, he has ties to Sam Perlazzo.

So, I guess Sam won't feel so bad when Angelos replaces him with Leo when the O's begin to stink it up next year.
