That is one tough place to play. Not only do you have to deal with the crowd, but the elevation as well.

Denver has a really good D. Quick LBs that can attack the ball. Secondary is solid, I guess the question is whether Bailey plays. And even though they adopted the Browns '04 D-Line, they have some talent there as well. DE Trevor Pryce is a monster.

As for their offense, you guys are really going to have to put some pressure on Plummer and force him to make some mistakes. One of the things we were not able to do was pressure the QB, and Jake the Fake torched us. If you can rattle him though, he will make some bad decisions.

Their running game can still get the job done. Denver likes to use zone blocking, where they don't necessarily block a player, but block an area on the field. And even if you do shut them down 2, 3, 4 times, they are just going to keep plugging away until they finally break one.

We really need you guys to win this one. :)

I will say the NFL wasn't doing you guys any favors with back to back road games against the Donks and then us.

We really need this one also. Thanks for the insight on them. We don't really get a chance, most of us, to follow other teams outside of our division. It really just comes down to scouting reports and various articles we read. Thanks for the insight and we will see you in a couple of weeks. Good luck this week.

we're on a bye this week, so you not only have one team scouting you guys this week, but two ;)

ETA: Just an FYI, but I'm a regular at fftoday. I've been going from board to board as we go through the season. I like hearing what the opposing fans are saying, as opposed to listening to the guys at chiefsplanet suck each other off :o

No to mention that our current coach gobbled up the Broncos at this little event called the Super Bowl. I think we have a bit of psychological leverage going into Mile High.

I have a question for you guys. Without tryin to make anyone mad or anything...

But with all the different people in DC, from all over the US, I know there are fans of every NFL team, and plenty of them.

Heck, who knows maybe I work for someone who may have some ties to DC and know even from our own point of view, we have an Eagles, Rams, Bills, Chiefs, Giants and i think 9ers fans who work for us out there.

And when the skins play those teams at home, I know those fans of other teams are just chomping at the bit to gte tix at RFK (or whatever you call it now) to see the game.

Same I've hard goes for the Nats. We have Royals, Cards, Phillies, Mets, etc fans who work for us out there who will go see the Nats just to see their favorite team. And with all the Congressional offices and all the different people from every different state, I'm wondering what the effect is each week for the Skins at home.

Do you notice quite a bit of opposing fans attending every home game, and even cheering for the opposing team? I'm wondering if there's more of a presence of opposing fans out in the DC area than you get in other stadiums across the country...


And if there is, how much does it bother you guys who have followed the home team since day 1 and see all these fans of other teams come into your house to watch their own personal team.

I think you are right about there being a few more fans from the opposing team in the stadium, but the only time it is noticable is when the Skins play the Eagles in RFK. I went last year and I really thought there were more Eagles fans than Skins fans. In general though, Skins fans are loyal and high in numbers at RFK.

Yes, but not as much this year or should I say when we're winning. Got a call from my friend there, he went to the game Sunday...Heard the Philly fans showed up and displayed their great sportsmanship. :roll:

I will be in KC in two weeks for the Skins game!

We tend to get the most eagles fans, followed by the pukes at FedEx Field.

Other than those 2 games, I'd say we have 90% skins fans.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

NFC East teams seem to have a lot of fans at our home games for some reason.
The only other place I can comment on is here in J-ville.
Down here when the Steelers and Skins come to town you can't find a ticket. This is a town that P. Manning hasn't sold out in 4 years. The Steelers rule all-tell and the the Skins have about a 70/30 edge
