I have seen the light?

Post by Chris Luva Luva »

I attended my 1st game as a Skin during the regular season. I must say that I now understand the reason why people shell out big dough to spend even more in concessions, deal with long lines, grumpy people, and horrible traffic.

Tailgating:

If you haven't attended the Hogs tailgate then you're crazy. Good food and good people are the recipe for great fun. Little Jackson stole my heart and my girlfriends today. I heard the hype about this little tike and I see why everyone loves him. He is sooooo cool and has a great smile. I must have played football with him for a hour or so. DE Hogs's son had a little swagger and trash talk in him while he, Jake and I threw the football around.

At the end of the game when we threw the INT and all of the air exited from the stadium sooo many people got up to leave. I sank down in my seat and imagined the sulking at work that was to insue. I refused to leave until the clock was at 00:00 and boy was I rewarded. The loser missed the FG and that was the 1st time Ive ever hugged 2 complete strangers at the same time before. I think it must be human nature to hug when jubilation occurs! I didn't even think to hug, it just happened, we were jumping up and down screaming and hugging.

Steve! Thanks for the tickets, you gave me some super seats. The guys beside me were great! The black guy at the end of the row infront of me was a riot! We were the most pumped up section on the top tier! Shenia said that when I gave you the money for the tickets that the female cop said that we were scalping (spelling). I wonder if thats why the man cop made me go around the barn before allowing me to go the correct way? Plus she got smart with me when I finally was allowed to pass them.

This was the most worthwhile $100 ive ever spent!

I'm glad you had a good time, Chris.

Tailgating was awesome. It was cool to finally meet your girlfriend. She was really nice.

P.S. Buy her a pink Portis jersey or something. Aeropostale just won't do at a football game.

I was there there at 10am... I wish I visited the HOGs tailgate. I got caught up with like 7 friends having such a great time! But I'm glad you had fun, I had a great time myself!
After the 4th though, I was running through the stadium at full speed screaming 3 and 0 and I ran into Redeem! I hugged the guy and kept going! Good times!

I had a wonderful time at the game today too. It was a great day to tailgate. I got home about an hour and half ago. As much fun as the pre-game tailgate is, the after game chill out on a beautiful day when you win is awesome. I met a bunch of my friends in the Orange lot so I didn’t get a chance to drop by the hog.net tailgate, maybe next time. 3-0.
Go Skins!!!
I was reading in the paper today about this dwarf that got pick pocketed. How could anyone stoop so low?

It was our first game at FedEx today as well. We parked in Red lot. I wish we could have gone to the hogs.net tailgate party, it was our first time at FedEx and I don't know if we would have been able to find it. How do you get to tailgate party, like what exit would you have to take? I have an orange pass for the next game. Is that near the tailgate? And, is there a charge or should we bring something to the party. I read somewhere that you guys cook up filet mignon? It can't be free, according to my wife. Anyway, we had a GREAT time at the game, we hung around til the end. We could'nt believe how expensive the concessions were, 5 bucks for a water!! It was freakin brutal in the sun!! And the beerman was walking around all day selling beer, how come they don't walk around selling water as well?? Also, we parked in the red lot and had to walk past an orange lot that looked half full, what's up with that?

Chris when Jackson got home he kept telling me how you two played 'one on one' and how much fun he had! Thanks for keeping my little guy happy. Maybe I'll get to meet you next time!

Good tail-gating action today. You picked a good game to make your first CLL. The weather was great, the brats were good, the whole experience was fantastic.

That lil boy is the best. He charmed Shenia and I as soon as we met him. Tell him that I can't wait to play football with him again.

Yep, I sure am. Most times, I fly down in the morning and fly back up after the game. My flight leaves Boston at 7:45am and I'm at the stadium by 10:30. My flight leaves Baltimore at 7:45 and I'm back home by 10pm. $89.00 round trip. With gas prices the way they are, and the amount of time it takes, it makes sense to fly.

Great tailgating yesterday!!

CLL, so your first game was a rousing success, huh?

Good times all around. It was great to run into Punu (or have him run into me, literally, rather ) at the game.

I wish I'd ahve made it out to the tailgate, but 'twas my mom's birthday yesterday, and I had to make it home in time to shower, change, and go wish "mamacita" a happy 63rd birthday.

I will catch up with all of y'all on the 23rd at the Niners game.

I can't wait.
Back and better than ever!

Email me at JansenFan@theHogs.net, and I'll reply with directions. We park in the green lot, but the actual tailgate takes place over the jersey wall in the orange lot, so orange will get you up close in personal.....and the orange lot is always half full. I think there are more orange lot parking spots than there are orange lot seats.

And Chris, it was fun. I was impressed by your coverage skills. Nice bump of the line, good instincts. You should try to walk on at UMD. It was nice meeting your girlfriend Shenia, even if you introduced her as "my girlfriend" and I had to go back later and actially ask her what her name was. :thump:

I sooooo wish I could walk. Working full time is going to hinder that a lot. UPS will pay for me to go back to school so maybe I'll look into something. I seriously doubt it but maybe if I explain my situation to the coach he'll help me work around my schedule. I breathe football! If I could play on the collegiate level the only regret of my life would no longer be. I know I dont have the best body for football but I think my heart would make up for it. Im a lightskinned Darrell Green, lol.

Sorry, I get nervous and forget things... She had a blast though and enjoyed meeting all of you. She simply adored Jackson! Skinschic really made her feel welcomed while I was out playing with the boys.

Oh man!! That was great! That lil boy made my day. I can't wait to meet him again. Jake has a nice arm too.

Jake and I are going to kill in that flag football game!!! I'm calling 2 INTs for myself in that game guaranteed!

If you get a chance can you send me the pic of Shenia and I? I might post it later, with her permission. :thump:
