Spurrier is getting pummelled again!!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Spurrier is getting pummelled again!!

Post by JPFair »

Some things never change!!! It's not even half time yet, and Spurrier is getting anihilated, 31-0. It looks ugly. First half Offensive total is about as much as he'd get with a sand wedge: 69 yards!! The guy needs to go back to the Golf course.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

i heard that he was bemoaning the fact that it seemed like some of his players weren't playing with any "passion". this brings me back to what i wondered when he got this job in the first place- how could any player really take him seriously not just as a coach but fundamentally as a man, after the cowardly way he conducted himself during and while exiting his redskins tenure?

i watched until 24-0. couldn't stand to see that confused individual any longer. he got john thompson back as his d-coord, who drove ECU straight into the ground the last 2 years here in greenville. his whole coaching staff sucks. i hate spurrier as much as i hate norval.

Its his first year, he inherited a 5-6 team and is going up against a power house. If its like a crappy team, than bring it up. But a college coach's first year is really his third, because thats when everyone grasps the system and there his players. He won at Duke, if he won at Duke he can win at South Carolina.

I admit that I was delighted with the way Spurrier left the Redskins. If he hadn't choked, taken a dive, run away, folded, surrendered, <choose your metaphor>, the Redskins might still have him as head coach.

Ouch! Just think: what if Spurrier had fought for his job? Watching the team during his two years was like swallowing mud. Resigning might have been the only good thing that Spurrier did with the Redskins.

He was the worst head coach since I have watched the team, and that goes back to Joe Khuharich.

Looks like a bad team, plays like a bad team...I'm thinking they're a bad team. Spurrier's "offensive genius" is long gone...right there with the "QB Guru" Brian Billick.
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."
