Fire Joe Gibbs (EDIT: not yet)
EDIT***here is my post i wrote about 50 minutes into the game, when it looked like for sure we would be in for 2004 Part II. in retrospect, obviously we pulled it out and see that i went a little overboard, but i REALLY HATE THE COWBOYS!!!!! so i went crazy.
i think we still have a LOT to work on before i'm convinced we will be any good this year on offense. but clearly we're not down and out yet.
that being said, here is the unedited entirety of my original post.

joe gibbs has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is hopelessly lost in the modern NFL, and incapable of putting his team in a position to win football games. the decision to go with brunell is so far beyond inexcusable my head is going to explode. the worst thing is, despite how terrible brunell has been, you can be assured gibbs will not bench him.
we are going to have another year where a top 3 defense is squandered by an unspeakably incompetent offense. there has to be some accountability. joe gibbs needs to be fired, at least at the end of the year if not during the year. that way we can make GW head coach to make sure we don't lose him.
everyone who has been arguing with me and others who have supported ramsey, well i don't need to tell you where to shove it. brunell sucks. get over it. ramsey might suck too but he at least gives us a chance to score.
the knocks on ramsey were:
1. he over/underthrows his WRs on deep routes
--well, brunell has thrown exactly 1 decent long pass all game, and about 4 decent short ones. he underthrew moss in the endzone on a sure TD. etc.
2. he throws too many bad INTs
---brunell threw an inexcusably terrible INT
3. he takes too many sacks
--brunell took a stupid sack that put us out of field goal range, and about 77 others.
the argument is over. it is now time to band together and figure out how to get brunell benched and gibbs fired.

Lock the doors on the bus - there are some people who should not be allowed on board after what they have said about our team and especially our coach.
Joe Gibbs never gives up - like a lot of people here.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

hey guys, how about instead of piling on and kicking me while i'm down, admitting that the game looked pretty lousy for about 55 minutes. the fact is, there is no way we will be able to pull out a majority of games like that. gibbs will be the first one to tell you that. i'll eat however much crow you want and i admit i deserve it. but let's not pretend this was a "convincing" victory.

You call it your way, we'll call it ours.
Either way, we're 2-0

That just makes the victory sweeter.
Do you have ANY idea how many games have been played where the Cowboys looked like crap for 55 minutes, and ended up winning the game?
Two Words... "Clint Longley"
This victory will be seen as one of the classics, right up there with Longley's pass, and Kenny Houston's tackle.

again, i apologize, everybody. how could i possibly have thought we might lose. i'm sure we will win every single game the rest of the season on two last minute TD bombs. i forgot that must've been how gibbs planned the whole game.
"Let's trick them into thinking we suck, so it will be easy to throw a couple bombs at the end of the game."
Gibbs, you wiley guy! you had me fooled!

The win will keep Gibbs around. I believe Gibbs was a great coach the first time around and I believe he still is.
I do believe Ramsey should be the starter, Gibbs has not giving him a fair chance.
The big problem is he needs to open the offense up go back to his day in San Diego in the late 70's - very early 80's and do some of the AIR Coryell <---(spelled wrong.)
