It was bad enough to see the skus split in two. $299 for just a graphics card upgrade, you get the system and a wired controller. You need to get the $399 system to have access to all the X360 functionality. Then I noticed the pricing for Xbox 360 accessories. For those of you who haven't seen them here is a list of some of the add on prices:

Xbox wired controller - $40
Xbox wireless controller - $50
20 gig HDD - $99
Wireless adapter - $99 (ME = WTF X 10000000000000000000000!!!)
Faceplates - $20

There may be more, but that is what popped out in front of me. Xbox 360 is screwing us consumers 360 different ways! So, here it is, MS has completely screwed up Xbox 360 from its initial unveiling and it just got worse today. Xbots, here is the day you can sign in and turn over your jacket!

Backwards compatibility is not available unless you purchase the HDD. The HDD won't be availabe to the developers to use for caching since the userbase will be broken.

I was never a big fan of XBox anyways. The only thing it had on PS2 was better graphics. But it only had a few really good exclusive games(Halo). I will wait the the PS3.

I think I'll wait about 5 years. Then we'll be able to get all that stuff at Funcoland for about $129.

I think you can buy an old school game boy now for, like, $20...
