What "Non-Star" Player do you think may "brea
The Skins have a lot of good players in their lineup: Marcus Washington, Lavar Arrington (when healthy), Sean Taylor (when he grows up), to name a few.
Focusing on the lesser known players in this lineup, which do you think has the best potential for a break out season?
Me? After seeing Bowen play in a few games under Williams at the beginning of the year last year, I think he's in for one hellofa year (if he stays healthy) so he's my pick.

I anticipate Chris
ey running away with this poll (for obvious reasons) but I voted for Matt Bowen. While Bowen is not a great coverage safety, he was a VERY disruptive force in Gregg Williams' D before he got hurt last season, being responsible for several turnovers. Playing in his natural SS position, and being alongside an All-World caliber FS in Taylor, will allow him to take more chances and make more disruptive plays. If he stays healthy he could have a big season.

ey -
eys h-back position is still going to allow him to get open at times.
Ladell Betts - Will be great when giving Portis a breather and if he has to take over. If our line opens the holes, he'll hit them.
Robert McCune - Great physical specimen. If he can grab the mental aspect he'll be a monster. Gregg will keep his role simple to keep him very effective.
Jim Molinaro - I've read that he's really maturing and becoming a force to be reckoned with. I think he'll become a backup for us that won't cause us to miss a beat.
Matt Bowen - I'm still wondering about his coverage ability, I still think that Ryan is better in coverage but that Matt is better in blitzing. I have them tied in run support.
Taylor Jacobs - He stays injured too often, I doubt he'll be signigicant.

I wouldn't put
ey in the "non-star" catergory. Maybe prior to last year but not after we all saw his performance. He definitely earned the star title. So I have to say McCune.

If I got to pick someone who's gonna boost this team and become atleast a star to us.... I'd say Phillip Daniels... if he can stay healthy...

Now that the secret is out that
ey is dating all of the cheerleaders, he should have less pressure on him, and therefore be able to have an "Antonio Gates"-type season.

ey is awesome and would be my senseable pick, But I picked Taylor Jacobs because hes doing well so far and I think hes due for that break out season.

I think that I'll go with Antonio Brown. I can see him impressing us with (hopefully) electrifying work on punt returns. On top of that, he might start to contribute on offense in certain packages. . .we'll hear his name called a few times a game and everyone will start to go "Man, that guy is awesome!"
. . .well, that's my prediction, anyway.
If I had to pick a player on the list, then I think Taylor Jacobs would be my pick. I'm beginning to think that there really is something about being a 3rd year receiver in the NFL that just breeds breakout seasons.

it's called "herding".. kind of like what cows do... one goes one way, and the rest seem to follow, none of them knowing why they do it... sometimes one wonders off and finds a nice pond to drink out of... and sometimes one wonders into the forest only to be devoured by wolves.... in the end, the majority of them make it home safely.... except for the fat ones....

Well, I like your analogy, but you'd have to make the cattle blind, since no one sees how many votes Bowen has until after they give their input.
So kind of like cows, blindfolded, choosing their own path, (and apparently mute since they don't moo about why they're doing whatever they're doing), only to discover that they are completely unoriginal. . .and the wolves are closing fast. . .

now your talking crazy... you can't blindfold a cow...
I will speak for them:
Bowen hit's hard, is bald and we didn't get to see all that he could do last year do to his injury.... (then they'd go all homerish on us and say) with Bowen & Taylor back there, we'd have the best safety tandium in the league...
or something like that...
