John Hall

Post by NikiH »

We were just watching NFL presents and they were talking kickers. Saying how they were wimpy and not well respected UNTIL John Hall came around. They showed some of his hits as a Jet. And the man is just plain awesome. So say what you want about wanting Chandler as the kicker. No one tackles quite like John Hall. And I want to keep him. (Not for my personal use, for the team ;-))

Oh definately. John Hall lays the smackdown.

I mean, I'd rather get him by some CB than Hall or Sebastian Janokowski.

I like Hall and prefer him over that other guy. I just hope he stays healthy.

I too hope that Hall hangs around and can stay healthy. I have never trusted Chandler since Spurrier tried to trade for him from the 49ers.

Hall is the first kicker that we've had in a long time that I'm not worried about. I trust the guy and hope he sticks.

I don't really want my kicker making the tackles - if he is then a lot of other folks have missed. Plus, that is usually how they get hurt - stick to kicking and tackle when necessary.

Hall is a big boy for a kicker. I like a kicker that's not afraid to mix it up.

I hope he sticks around too. The guy has a monster leg.

Danny Wuerffel put quite a lick on somebody as a kicker during the Skins opener in 2002.

IF he stays healthier, he's our man. Anyone who can add points AND take their players out is a definite asset.

D.W.: The Legend Lives On

Perhaps we should resign Danny to our special teams unit, so John doesn't have to make the hard tackles. We need Hall to survive the entire season.

Keep 'em both. It's wierd, carrying two kickers (or even three) but with Hall's history on injury, the safest bet is to stock up. Hate to have to go through that gauntlet again with kickers.

Do you mean carry them on the practice squad or regular roster?

HE is one of our best moves yet. I wish the rest of our team has his consistency. Got to meet him at camp, a real great guy.
