I heard on the news that the group(or groups?) were particularly concerned about the term "Redskin" being used.
not good. I just hope the NCAA ruling doesn't rub off on the NFL.
Actually, I could be wrong on this, maybe it isn't official yet? maybe someone can shed some light on this issue? i just caught the tail end of the discussion on CNN.

From what I understand the band only covers the Bowl Season and who is allowed to host the Bowls.
FYI The Seminole Nation of Florida has a long standing dialog with FSU and the use of the seminole as a mascot has never been a issuse. The SNF current statement goes something like this "History is repeating itself - Non-Indians are telling Indians how they feel again"
No word from the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma yet.
