I checked the 2 most obvious choices, NBC4 and Comcast SportsNet...and neither showed the game in their TV listings...but I don't know how accurate those are. I didn't see it listed on the Redskins.com site either...I'd like to watch it, too...so, if anybody knows if it will be on, please post...

I had BaltimoreRavens.com but couldn't find any mention of possible TV coverage. They do talk about TV coverage for their first pre-season game, so my best guess is that it's not televised.

I'm still holding out hopes of going.

I hope they televise it but since it's only a scrimmage, I really doubt it. They may have some video of it on news broadcasts but I don't think they'll have a fully televised session.

In the past Comcast Sprots Net has played some of the scrimmages but later that night or on the next day in the evening.

Scrimmages are not generally televised. Preseason games mark the first broadcasts of the NFL season.
Hopefully, that satisfies your momentary curiosity and you can get back to wondering what happened to Waffle Crisp. :)

I'm positive they used to televise them. I realize not nationally. It's been a long time though...I know it was against the Steelers...and the only name I can recall was Shar Pourdanesh...who we may have just traded or shortly after the scrimmage traded to the Steelers. Fuzzy memory.

I think you must have been watching them through your Crystal Ball.

I know the NFL network is carrying the Green Bay Buffalo scrimmage game tonight, so it might be worth it to check tomorrow's listings for them.

Okay...thanks to the almighty power of Google, I've been vindicated:

"Former Redskin Jeff Bostic, Jurgensen and Michael will work WRC's coverage of a two-hour scrimmage against the Pittsburgh Steelers tomorrow at Frostburg State."

That would be WRC...WRC-4..a TV station

Scrimmage Ravens vs. Redskins

Post by blchizzleke »

Sunday afternoon I will be praying that no player, especially not a key player like Jon Jansen last year, gets hurt in this game.

Thats great...but you should consider praying a day earlier...when they are actually playing the scrimmage.

Its today!

They didnt look that great (scrimmage)

Post by HailtoTheRedskins »

Just got back from the scrimmage in b-more, I have to say it didnt look all that great... Let me point some out...

Ramsey, He only completed a hand full of passes (two or three if I remember right), one of which out of the shotgun (liken the shotgun).

We didnt get down the feild well, looked like most of last year.

Patten Dropped a ramsey pass, as well as a few other WR with dropped passes.

we gave up a few sacks, Ray Lewis had one, and so did Prime Time (that pissed me off).

2nd String Offense didnt look to much better, but burnell had more completions then ramsey, Campbell was ok but looked like a rookie (showed some spark from time to time)

The first round D did ok, and since they where minus some key plays (harris, rogers, etc) they did ok.

On the upside here is what I saw

#86 Brown looked SHARP, he had a great run back in specail teams play, and he made a hand fell of great grabs really got seperation from b-mores Dbacks.

Our punter looked good...

All and all they didnt look that great on offense, but hey its a scrimmage and it was good to go against a team like the Ravens. I think the shotgun. I was a little shocked to see like progress on the offense...
And on the 7th day (Sunday) God made football, and he saw that it was good.

They gave Deion a sack because he touched Ramsey? lol, Deion doesnt have the tackling ability to take down any QB.
