Kudos, Kudos, Kudos
Wow! What a weekend. Hours and hours of audio, video and commentary about the Redskins! Thank you Extremeskins, Hogs.net and the Warpath.net for a job very well done. And thank you Redskins (thank you Danny and Coach Gibbs) for providing these web sites access to mini-camp. It provided us loyal fans with a wealth of multimedia information. I truly wonder if there’s any other team in the league (or in any other sport for that matter) that has done for its fans what the Redskins did this past weekend. I, and I’m sure thousands of fans, certainly hope this unprecedented fan/media access continues through training camp, the preseason and the regular season. My only disappointment was that the question I posed (“what the changes are to the offense, particularly changes to the run blocking scheme and to the short and deep passing game”) received only a “sssshhhhhhhhhhh“ from Coach Gibbs! If it’s not too late, I’ll settle for a copy of the playbook. Oh yeah, I also didn’t see the video I requested of the Santana Moss vs. Antonio Brown 40 yard dash. In any case, and to paraphrase Coach Greg Williams: It truly is a proud time to be a Redskin. Again Kudos, Kudos, Kudos to Danny, Coach Joe and the finest organization in pro sports: OUR Washington Redskins!!!!

Thanks for the kind words Tahoe. DE and I had the pleasure of meeting TK and Tarhog from Extremeskins and joecrisp from thewarpath, and we were able to put our affiliations aside and work together. The access from the Redskins was a huge step for us all, and the cooperation between "competitors" was equally as important.
I really want to thank the Washington Redskins organization, with special thanks to Will Norman from PR who was very helpful this weekend in answering questions and assisting us in getting acclimated, and Pat Wixted and Karl Swanson for working with us to make it possible.
We did our best to be professional and cover the events with an up-beat and positive attitude. Hopefully, those efforts will translate into greater access in the future.
Either way, it was an experience that, if I can speak for all of us collectively, we will never forget.

Just to echo a few sentiments... thanks to TahoeSkin for the props.
I would also like to thank the Redskins organization for granting us this unprecedented access. It was both exciting and informative to have been a part of it. The Redskins' willingness to try and make the Redskins the most accessible team in the NFL is appreciated by both the site and I'm sure the overall winning recipients -- the Redskins fans. After all, we are all just trying to bleed burgundy and gold a little bit harder.
Lastly I'd like to thank two dads for giving up a big chunk of their father's day to bring THN the coverage. Dan and Scott did a great job representing us this weekend, and it's the kind of work and effort that I think makes THN continue to grow and prosper.
As we come up on 500 articles written by the staff, whatever cool toys and gimmicks we add to the website, it is our content that keeps a lot of you coming back or brought you here in the first place. We are honored to have been granted the access to facilitate bringing even more content to the Redskins' faithful fans, and we look forward to continuing to provide a fresh perspective of all that is going on in Redskin-land.
There will be numerous special articles coming up this week on mini-camp, as Scott and Dan filter through all of their notes and clips from camp. Stay tuned!

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
This has been a great weekend to be a Redskins fan.
I don't think the Redskins will regret the decision to allow this access.
All of the sites have handled this professionally and have brought the fans great access from different angles that would never be seen on Redskins.com.
Great job Dan and Scott. Work well appreciated!

Yes I would like to echo the apprecitaion of my fellow Redskins here and all over the world...as I have come to witness the many faces of loyal Redskins fans THANKS to THN!!!
I dont know what positivity the future will bring for the Redskins or us fans...But I believe the team is returning back to a winning organization...that will be respected! Patience is a virtue. The hard work (as i think we will see), loyalty, and heart will pay off. Dam it feels good to be a Redskins!!!!

What competition?

This is the best Redskin site in the web, maybe not with the largest number of posters but certainly some of the best posts and most knowledgeable and informed Redskins fans.
Congratulations guys! I could follow but not post over the weekend while I was on travel.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
