Morton isn't really surprising, but I wonder about Hall. Is he still hurt?

J E T S, jets jets jets- way to go Spurrier. As long as we have chandler and someone to return kicks i'm fine with that

If this can save us money and open up roster spots then Im all for it. Morton can't do anything that someone who comes cheaper can't do, and if Hall is injured then we need to get someone in there who is healthy.

I'm all for re-signing Joe Cortez, if he's available.

Dude, NO!! First of all its Jose Cortez not Joe Cortez and 2nd of all HE BLOWS!! Jose "Baby" Cortez was an absolute joke on the Niners. We do not need another kicker like Michael Husted. I am fine with Chandler. He is way better then Cortez and he is better then Hall.

Ahem. His "friends" call him Joe, okay. Stop knockin' on my boy. He can outkick Michael "Cómo está" Husted any day.

The only way I can see the Skins wanting to cut John Hall is if he remains injured...or if his injury is causing major concerns for the Skins. Otherwise, I have no clue why they would cut him.

This was my question. Is there somewhere we can get information on off-season injury status?

It makes no sense to cut John Hall unless it is a career ending injury.

He was walking fine at the draft day party. No sign of a limp. I guess that doesn't mean he can kick.

I can see this happening if it is a Conway situation where Hall will continue reinjure himself. I think Hall brought much needed Consistancy to the Kicking game, but if he is still hurt than Jeff Chandler is a good Kicker, and probably cheaper than Hall. Morton was a bust, he should have stayed with the Jets. Thras can return punts and kick-offs

I want to keep 'em both around, if at all possible. Morton has yet to have an injury-free season (and some nice upfield blocking like he had in NY) and Hall is just deadly from 35 + yards.
Anything under that, it's a crapshoot.
Really. Chandler should be nothing more than an insurance policy. Hall could absolutely be the next Mosely for us.
Is that a sacrilege to say out loud ?

With all the players we have that can return kicks Morton might be gone after June 1 he'll save us $540,000
Hall would free up $1,100,000 but I would rather keep Hall until he proves he can't do it.
One of our centers may be released around the same time as these guys.
We picked up Rabach this offseason so Raymer($995,000 cap savings) or Friedman($650,000) will more than likely be cut

I would prefer that Freidman be cut. I'm not real sure on Hall though, that 1,100,000 could be useful though.
Still Loyal. Go Skins!
