Odd/Interesting Match Ups for 2005

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Odd/Interesting Match Ups for 2005

Post by Hogfather »

First the interesting:

Halloween Match Up - Ravens vs Steelers on Monday. I like this match up a lot. Two heavy hitting, tough blue noise teams going at it on Monday night is always a plus in my book! There should be a ton of whacked out Steelers fans in costumes which is always good for a laugh and Mr. Ray Lewis will probably do something extra special on Halloween to top his normal high energy play.

Now the Odd:

Thanksgiving Day Match Ups:

Cowboys vs Broncos - The Broncos :hmm: This match up just doesn't have that Thanksgiving feel to it. Should be an ok game but where’s the tradition, where’s the rivalry?

Lions vs Falcons - OK this one should be fun to watch Vick have his way with the Lions D, but again where’s the tradition & rivalry?

Is it me...does anyone else enjoy/miss the traditional games or are they too old school and boring now?

Ryan Leaf got his arse handed to him that day.

That was the day Reggie Swinton ran back a punt for a TD and John Mobley tried to rip his head off in the end zone.
