Um...yeah....I bet a million that it won't happen THIS year.

Let me know when the odds are 15:1, then I might consider throwing some money down.

Okay here's the question to the fans. If you answer NO to any of the below questions, please pm me, we need 2 give u a pep talk :D .

1. Do you watch every Skins Game?
2. Do you think we have a chance at the beginning of each game?
3. Do you root for us or against us?
4. Do you believe we have a chance until the game is over?
5. Do you believe that the team plays to win?

If you answered yes, then congratulations, you're a great Skins Fan...if you answered NO that's cool, but dont dampen the spirits of others who have high expectations.

Mike sounds like one of those fans in the funny NFL network spots where guys make silly predictions. "Whose my sleeper team?.....49ers...yeah the niners!"

But I can't knock it there is no science to being a fan. Only question I have is...why are you on this site if you are picking the Dolphins to win the SuperBowl :hmm:

I mean, if you are going to pick a team that was not very good last year to win the Bowl...why not pick your own?

#3 is not a yes or no answer. As for #4 I gave up on the Eagles game when Patrick tossed that INT in the endzone, so I'd have to say Yes.... wait that's the second question you should't answer yes to.

Yeah, i edited that, but anyway...you get the idea. How can you hate on Randy Moss for leaving the game with 2 seconds left, but admit to giving up on the team. We are fans, we have no excuse to give up...we don't have to do anything but believe.
Im not used to being around people who give up...sure at some point it becomes obvious we are not going to win...im not looking at the clock with 10 seconds saying to myself "gee if we score twice and get an onside kick..." But I am adressing people who say..."we wont be very good this year" "Only 8-8" or "we will get bounced out of the first round if we make it"

Those comments are valid, but they are misplaced on a fan site. Go Skins

Randy Moss made more money in those 2 minutes than I did all year. That's how.

But, anyway, I've said before that I'm cautiously optimistic for this season.

I said yes for no.3 but then I said no and you didn't specify what to do if the answer both.

:hmm: Should I PM you then ignore your replies....
Should the answer to this be yes or no :?:

I'm confused. I think you need to clarify your antecedent.

Does "it" refer to the rhetorical question in the same post? Or to the set of questions in your previous post?

Being a UVA grad, I would expect more from a C-Ville resident...i was talking to Inksider...if you followed the thread I was referring to the reponse inksider made to the earlier post.

I don't know how difficult it is for some of you to understand that we can get enough negative stuff from the media...especially those of us that live in D.C. if you want to be a crybaby and promote negative talk and pessimism amongst fans then go right ahead, but it makes me a bit sick hearing this stuff from all directions, even from other fans.

BTW: If you really want to be picky, your post said "Randy Moss made more money in those 2 minutes" It was 2 seconds not, 2 minutes.

Well if we REALLY want to be picky there was about 1:45 on the game clock. :D

If I'm not mistaken he was headed to the tunnels before the Vikes scored the last touchdown. Black and silver couldn't have been a better fit for him.

Okay...nope, I'll save my money.
Besides, I'd never presume to bet on my own team. It's considered a jinx, where I come from.
'Course, it'd be hard to jinx the Redskins any worse then they've been, right ?

My fault BH.

You're right TC. After years of lost bets I've determined that betting on the Skins is indeed a jinx. Opening my wallet and paying for something I have no control over is a thing of the past. Never again.
