Cowboys top free-agency winners so far

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

As much as I hate the Cowboys they are definitely the top free agency winners so far. Well after the Ravens signing of Rolle, theyre might be some competition, but Dallas still edges them out

But we're not mortgaging our future on this one; our draft picks stay with us and while we might be overpaying some, we're not doing it ridiculously. (See; 8.6 Mil Signing Bonuses to eventual backups)

As we all said, modestly, last year: what does it mean to be declared off-season free-agent winners?

i won't argue about brunell. i didn't like the trade when it happened, and i sure don't like what it did to our cap freedom (or lack thereof). but only time will tell if the 'boys have mortgaged their future or not this offseason.

The only people who think games are bought through free agency are media people, and casual fans. This is not baseball where there is no salary cap. You can't buy wins in football...we just now stopped trying to do that thanks to Gibbs. I like our offseason
SPIT HAPPENS!!

Besides, it's way too early to declare an "offseason winner" on March 8th.

Offseason Winner = instability = More losses than your team wants to have...

Do I detect a hint of trepidation? This is like the SI cover jinx. We want you to be the winner. I mean we dont want you popping corks or anything but be prepared to wear the mantle proudly.

Must be a bit disconcerting though to have Marco's back surgery interfering with all the celebrations down there.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Trepidation?

IT'S MARCH!!!

Call someone an offseason winner AT LEAST AFTER THE DRAFT!!

Why would you compare it to the SI Jinx? The only reason it seems the past "off-season winners" have crashed and burned is because...

Well, you guys have managed to be "off-season champs" for the past 3-4 years.

Silly, after the draft is when you declare the draft winner.

Fruits on that.

I for one still am leery of the way Jerry Jones runs drafts.

Even though we've hit on our last three top choices :?

It could be worse. You could have Mike Tice running your draft.

Or the owner could be like Red and not give a _____

Got rid of Moss(who missed 5 games last year) for a needed MLB and the #7 overall pick
Added Pat Williams to the DL
Picked up Smoot to play corner coner
Signed Shaper to play Saftey and weaken a divisional rival
and they are still talking to the Jags about Donavin Darious for the pther S spot

I'd have to say the Vikes have made the biggest strides in free agency.

never to one to speak kindly about that team in Texas I have to admit they have made some very good moves early, and adding D. Howard would move them back ahead of Minny  (until I can come up with another angle  )

NO WAY!!!!! cardinals are definetley the winners: they've added Kurt Warner, who won 5 out of 7 games last year as a starter, they've added a great new nucleus of young defensive talent....they have money and they're spending it well.....and since i am a skins fan, i would never say that the cowboys are winners....
