See! Patrick isnt THAT slow! Now if we can get that time up...he might be able to scramble for some yards this coming season. I know its no where close to REALLY fast, but he's probaly a bit slower than average. They need him doing cardio at camp to churn out some yards!
Oh yeah he's a review of him:
Positives: Well-proportioned frame with broad shoulders…Has a quick release and a live arm with excellent velocity on his deep tosses…Sets up fluidly with good balance and footwork…Poised under pressure, showing toughness stepping up in the pocket…Goes through progressions and does a nice job reading defenses…Shows power and snap in his release, delivering with proper over-the-top mechanics.
Negatives: Needs to work on his footwork setting up in the pocket, as he is not always quick to reach his drop/set point…Needs to show more patience when under pressure, as he will loft the ball into traffic every now and then…Lacks a soft touch, as he puts too much power behind his short throws (they are accurate, though)…Has trouble following through with his release when forced out of the pocket.
REMINDS ME OF…JAY FIEDLER, Miami Dolphins: Like Fiedler, he's good, but never will be great. Much like Fiedler, he will frustrate his coach with his poor field decisions and penchant for throwing the ball into traffic.

yeah... but he did that running backwards... it's like 10.5 or more running fowards...

CurveBall - "It might be YOUR biggest game of the year but it really doesn't seem to be as big a deal for Dallas fans anymore."
STRENGTHS: Plays with great confidence and is an exceptional leader on the field. Finds ways to win big games, Shows outstanding touch in the short-to-intermediate passing game. Has a quick release, does a good job of recognizing the blitz and handles pressure extremely well. Finds the open man when given time. Spreads the ball around. Has solid ball skills, including a good play-fake. Isn't afraid to take some chances downfield and has become more aggressive. Plays with great intensity.
WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal quickness. Forces the ball into coverage at times and tries to make too much happen. Doesn't have ideal arm strength; some of his downfield passes sail. Doesn't get great velocity on his vertical passes.
I guess they were right about Tom's knack to win the big game... And wow, 5.24??!?!? I'm 15 years old and I run a 4.9 what the hell is wrong with Patrick??
If you ran a 4.5 at age 14 you would be the second coming of Darrell Green which I can guarantee you you're not
I believe Darrell was clocked at a 4.42 when he was 40 so the kid has a few tenths of a second to make up. But I knew a guy in High school who was 15 and ran a 4.33 40. So it can be done...most guys who run that fast are track athletes. This guy played football too but I don't think everything ever came of it...
Don't forget, track athletes are generally pretty lean and don't have to bulk up to play a contact sport. A 6' 160lb runner had better be faster than a 6' 190lb football player
You'll have to ask the heavy-set thin guy over there.
RIP 21
