I'm sick of this perverted twit. From death threats to spouting all forms of hate-speak; to 'I'm getting screwed because I'm black'

John Chaney is a pathetic human being. He's a legend in his own mind and should never be allowed to coach young men again. He's Bobby Knight without the talent, ability and sense of humor. Beyond that, he's a thug.

I read the artcile and rolled my eyes. Chaney says:

- It's not really me

- It was a momentary lapse

- Probably, soon, "I just want to get this behind me" (my favorite sports-mush for, "please forget that I <shot that guy><beat up that women><got caught selling drugs>" etc.

OK, isn't Temple a university? Aren't these supposed to be college students? Student / athletes? As with Woody Hayes, Bobby Knight, and 50 other coaches I can't remember, why can't the president of Temple control the bizarre behavior of a coach?

Is Temple a basketball team with a college attached, or a college where some students also play basketball?
