Ever since the Titans cut Mason people think there is a better chance on them taking Mike Williams, but no one is sure.
But what I totally forgot about was that the new Titans offensive cordinator is USC alumn Norm Chow :x

See the connection? Norm Chow and Mike Williams.

If the Titans dont get a WR in the FA list, then I have a feeling Norms gonna want to get his boy.

If that happens but we still get Santana Moss, I say we trade down for a Matt Roth or David Pollack, get more picks and get a WR in the later rounds.
But if Mike slips down to #9, then we get him.

I have a bad feeling about MWilliams. I don't think we're going to be anywhere close in getting him.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

NICE...I hadn't thought about that. It is almost a given. I am shocked the media hasn't already speculated that.

Oh, well...we could always draft a guy names Derrick Johnson....or trade down and get Troy Williamson.

Good connection, air_hog, I hadn't seen it at all until you mentioned it.

. . .I guess we shouldn't be getting our hopes of Mike Williams too much at this point. My only problem with picking up a WR in the later rounds is that we're very much in need of a #1 receiver going into this offseason--never a comfortable thing. And I don't see a later draft pick being the man that we want. I'd rather have Jacobs pick up the number 1 spot. . .

Perhaps we'll end up with Mason or some other cap casualty (or maybe Moss).

And the Vikings are looking at him much closer after their deal... with Mason still out there, his signing could have a huge impact on the next team looking for a WR.
