T.E. Heath Miller

Post by Redskins2k5 »

I will start my campaign to Draft Heath miller from UVA. This kid is a beast his is bigger and stronger than royal and cooley. He can Run and Pass block so he can help the O-L. Not to mention that he is smar tsince he foes to UVA.

I don't think JG will take him for the smae reason he passed on KWII...waste of a pick. If you have a dominant TE like that, you need to be prepared to build an offense around them. Cleveland is doing,a nd so is NYG, because they are committed to throwing to them.

When ahs JG ever built an offense around a TE? He needs a WR that cna stretch the field, and a more athletic line play. He didn't go deep becuase he knew the line was too weak to protect Ramsey long enough, and he also knew the WR coprs wasn't consistent enough to catch the ball.

I suspect he will drop and get more picks, and build the WR corps and the offensive line.

Man don't worry about the typos. I don't think we to build an offense around him. I think he could wrk in our system just fine. It's also very far away from a waste of a pick.

There is no need of HMiller. We have Cooley, who has done just fine. We need a WRs and O-line. I agree with BigPig. Man, I wish for Williams!!!

We're not going to draft Miller or any other tight end in the 1st round. I guarantee it. Even if the slightest chance of him slipping into the 2nd round occurs, we don't have that pick.

R2K5, I can bet you $100 that we won't draft him.

Chris Cooley and Robert Royal folks, those are our futures at the TE and HB positions. Some may not like Royal, but I really like this kid, more so after watching some tapes from this past season. He didn't even get a chance to play til late in the season, I can't remember exactly what week. His numbers are solid as well..
8 REC 70 YARDS 4 TD's
IMO drafting a TE with our 9th pick overall would be a TOTAL waste.

Hey he's plenty of talent. I just don't think the Skins need him. I think he's better than JShock - right now! But I'm sure somebody is going to be happy to have. I agree that Royal and Cooley are plenty. Although we could use a 'depth' guy - Dave Moore is under-rated and can long snap.

... Free Agent Dave Moore, or one of the other 10 dudes with NFL experience. If we signed a guy like Dressens, I won't cry a bit. But I don't see us spending a pick on a TE - unless someone falls through the cracks and we get great value.

I love pot stirrers. I got tired of stirring by myself.

I don't think we'll draft a TE until late in the draft. We'll probally sign someone who is an unknown that Gibbs has researched thoroughly. He'll prolly be a monster too.

Was that sentence intentional, if so it is funny. Heck it is still funny if it was unitentional. I am on your side I think that we sholud draft him too. For those that think a TE isn't worth a #9 I ask this; is Tony Gonzales or Todd Heap worth a #9? I rest my case!

Ive seen Miller play in college ever since he was a freshman.. this kid is amazing. I know the skins might not need him but he is a franchise. He is a mix of Shockey and Heap. Hes got good speed and if his qb this year was still Matt Schuab we would be talkin about him goin in the top 5. When u say we need a wr threat... i agree.

My suggestion is to honestly intitiate a 3 team trade.
Randy Moss to Oakland
Jerry Porter and 2nd round pick to Redskins
LaVar Arrington to Vikings
AHMAD BROOKS IS THE BEST LB IN THE NATION... BILL MUSGRAVE WILL MAKE PATRICK RAMSEY A STAR

I just dont want to see Lavar go anywhere. We had absolutely no pass rush last season, and Lavar gives us that and more. He is the most athletic LB in the game, and our defense can only improve

Also, Gibbs gave up this years 2 rounder to move up to get Cooley. I think there is too much invested in this kid to draft Miller. If we passed on KW last year, why would we take Miller now?

Man he would look nice in a Raiders outfit, but we need speed thats why Gardner is on the first Greyhound out of here.

We would be better off drafting a deep threat reciever the Heath Miller. Yes he is a great blocker and has good hand but I would not count on him to be down field option.
