Redskins general admission ticket prices for 2005

Post by ANT7088 »

Washington Redskins general admission ticket prices will remain unchanged for the fourth consecutive year.

The seats range from $44 to $79 per game and do include the pricier club seats or luxury suites.

Even with the price freeze, Washington was the second most expensive team to watch last season, according to the annual Fan Cost Index compiled by the Team Marketing Report, a Chicago research firm. The index includes factors such as club seat and general admission ticket prices, concessions and souvenirs.

The Redskins play in the NFL's largest stadium and have sold out every home game since 1966. The season ticket waiting list now exceeds 105,000 names, according to senior vice president Mitch Gershman, with the numbers spiking after last year's announcement that Joe Gibbs would return as coach.

Wow...I'm impressed that he's not raising the prices again this year. Nice to give some other teams a chance to catch up with us !

What would be great is if he lowered prices one year. That'd let the "common man" bring his family to the game.

BTW- Do any teams offer discounts to armed services personnel?

Pats have the highest ticket prices in the NFL. Winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years (wait 10 days) and having a 3 year old stadium means it costs big money to go the games.

But we are still the #1 most valuable franchise. Even when we go 6-10.
