I'll be installing this bad boy on Sunday with some help from a friend. I'll post pics too.

These are the rims I want too. I can't seem to find them anywhere.

cool. a free flowing air-intake. btw, most of that bolt on horespower is a waste of money. invest in either nitrous oxide,(N2O) or a supercharger such as vortec, or paxton, then you'll really get some juice. ;)
you can find the wheels online, just keep looking.

Seems like a silly thing to add to a computer, but then again I went with lighted feet.

After my warranty expires I plan on adding some headers and possibly a super charger to it. I've heard that the Ice Box can add 12 WHP... I think thats a bit high, but we'll see.

12? ROTFALMAO like i said, those "bolt ons" are practically worthless. i understand waiting the warranty out, which is really smart. even the box will void your warranty, even if the instructions says it won't, because it is not the original manufacturers parts, so take heed from experience. but, the paxton/ vortec superchargers add about 100 HP, and so does the N2O systems. thats power you can FEEL, not wonder if it's working. ;) the problem with the N2O, is you keep having to fill that damn bottle, so the supercharger is the way to go. of course this only helps in two situations..... street racing, and speeding tickets, so before you buy either, i suggest you contact a good defense attourney.... also advice from experience. i had an '86 IROC-Z that was out of this world. almost cost me my driving privelages. :)

Its a $300 modification that I got for $75 bucks. For that price you can't beat that.

As far as the warranty is concerned, I was told that they can only void your warranty if the product was the cause of the problem. If my head gaskets went up they can't void my warranty because of the Icebox since its totally unrelated.

I got the windows tinted today. I got 35% all the way around except for the windshield. I should have pictures of the installation tommorow.

Can someone host the pictures for me?

These are the rims that I'm trying to buy off another Acura owner. He wants about $1250 for them. I love how they look. You don't see too many cars with black chrome.

You think they'd look good on my car?

I am also going with black chrome or gun powder black, they make the whole car look better.

CLL and redskincity,

If you are going to buy rims for the looks, that's cool and fine but be careful. Some "real cool" rims do not have the strength necessary if you are really going to push the car to its limits. Are these rims forged? One piece, two pieces, etc.

CLL you have a FWD with about 270 HP. If you are going straight, fine. But if you are going to push this baby in the twisties somewhere, you better make sure that the rims with the "good looks" also deliver the beef when needed, particularly if you are going to add a supercharger later on. The front wheels are particularly vulnerable to a rim failure in this model.

Are you installing the same or wider tires?

If you are going to do something to this baby, why not a lower and stiffer suspension? CLs like to be stiffened up a little.

You must make sure the rims are TUV approved or yeah, you will definitely run into problems.

Ok guys, the install didn't happen. I'll hopefully have it done this coming weekend and I'll bump this thread so you can see the pics.

I am having 2nd thoughts about these rims for reasons you have stated and for the fact that I won't have a warranty or the such.

I think I'll just wait until I can truely afford to purchase them because I don't like to exceed my means and get bitten in the butt for it later.

rims won't void the warranty, unless they fail. so you are cool there. they aren't considered part of the engine/drivetrain. the mod, however, is.
