This according to the sportsline.com.

It looks like if we had lost yesterday we would've been picking 5th, right back where we were in 2004.

2005 Draft Order

1 San Francisco
2 Miami
3 Cleveland
4 Chicago
5 Tampa Bay
6 Tennessee
7 Oakland
8 Arizona
9 Washington
10 Detroit
11 Dallas
12 N.Y. Giants*
13 Houston
14 Carolina
15 Kansas City
16 New Orleans
17 Cincinnati
18 Buffalo**
19 Jacksonville
20 Baltimore

* Traded to San Diego
** Traded to Dallas

The Redskins pick is correct, but sportsline is incorrect on the second Dallas pick. They'll pick at #20 unless St.Louis or Minnesota make the Super Bowl which will drop it to #19.

Yeah you're right.

I think sportsline was just ranking the nonplayoff teams.

It's a good thing Buffalo went on that late season run. For a while there I was afraid Dallas was going to be receiving a top 5 pick from them.

Yea, it kinda stinks for us that Buffalo's pick isn't any higher, but I'll gladly take Julius Jones AND this years #20 (plus Ryan, a fairly decent blocking TE) over anyone that was available with #22 last year.

I'll be surprised if Washington stays at #9 this year. I expect a tradedown for an interior lineman or WR. I just don't see any worth that pick. Mike Williams is the wildcard though. We'll see how he runs.

Depends on FA, but so many teams have so much more cap space, I don't see Washington getting into much big spending.

Thank God for Buffalo.....

The Skins will be able to draft a high caliber player....not as good as Taylor but no one in the draft is that good

sure did
Buffalo traded its 2005 first round pick to Dallas so the Bills could select J.P. Losman with the 22nd pick.
