...and we finished 6-10. Not saying that thats how it would have turned out in real life, but it seems pretty likely that it would have.Clinton rushed for about the same yards, we got blown out against the eagles the first time, but kept it close until the last 4 seconds when Owens ripped a tackle for a TD, lost to Dallas the first time, then annialated them the 2nd...(though that didnt happen in real life) We lost to the Browns because a short pass to Gardner near the endzone was fumbled, and recoverd with 30 seconds to go. Oddly we lost to the Niners...I'm still pondering that one. At Minnesota we lost 32-21, I don't see that happening in real life, I think tommorow the game will be much closer.

But thats how my season went...I lost alot of close games, but still blew out the Giants, and managed to hang with the Eagles. The Super Bowl was a surprise to me, it ended up being Indy and Seattle...Not completly unlikely.

At the end of the season I finished with about 4.69 Million in Cap Room. Smoot was asking for about 7.5 mill from his 650k. Alot of players ended up having one year contracts, and some wanted to retire. Needless to say, I resigned Smoot and and Antonio Pierce and beefed up the O-Line a little.

Tommorow I'll start the preseason and see if we really get things together for 05'.

Well Hogs.net, thats my summary of Redskins EPSN 2k5 Frachise mode.

Have a Happy New Year and Enjoy the Game tommorow.

2k5 isn't a very good way to sim a season. I went through it with Westbrookon DL all season, Buckhalter out after week 4 with a spine injury, and finished the season with Bruce Perry as the leading rusher in the NFL.

Well it doesnt work the same for everyone...but the Bruce Perry as leading rusher.... It really puts your faith down in the simulator.

In my experience you can go an entire season in 2k5 without ever throwing a pass.

It is. Just had nothing else to really post about it except I think the Madden simulator is better.

Yes, I do have both games.

The same with any football game, it lets you sim the season. But I just played the close games, and the Sim basically won all the big games, unfortunatly even though I did play the close games, they still became L's because of someone breaking a tackle or Gardner or Thrash Fumbling or something...

I personally think Maddens Sim is slower, but its got a fancier and cleaner setup. Its fun to sim on Madden with a created team because it has all the extras like the team newspaper and the radio talk show and such. To me ESPN is faster and more effienct, but thats just my opinion.

I did the same thing on Madden, but the Skins went 11-5 and the Eagles finished 4-12, oddly. Skins made to the Bowl, but lost to the Pats

Yea, now take into account all the stupid trades the CPU teams do

Yeah. How about Brunell for a pick, $40 million over 7 years, and... wait a minute, crap! :-D

yeah, then we could just reset the simulator. Unfortunately, we are stuck with the "crafty left". Isnt that what they call all older left handed pitchers?
