I know is a sophmore, but did anyone see Lenard Pope in the Wisconson vs. Georgia game today. He is a stud. 4 5 speed, 6'8 with nice hands. Too bad, not till next year.
I agree. TE is not a weak spot on this roster. I recall the Winslow talk this time last year. I'm not all that enamored with the modern TE's ability to adapt to H-back. ey is one in a million.

who bashes ey? The man has great hands, catches almost everything thrown at him. We got Royal, who also has good hands, but needs to work on blocking, but he is young.
Blocking in this scheme is every bit as important as sure hands are. If you need to learn how to block, I'm not so sure you'll make it in DC with Gibbs.
Just my two cents.

ey is an H-back. I really doubt Gibbs will draft a high profile TE. His TEs are not used for catching passes, so the guys he goes for are available in the later rounds. I also don't think Royal and Kozlowski will be around much longer. You gotta be a pretty good blocker and it doesn't seem like either one of them are very good at it...
I agree, why are we talking about drafting a TE? ey is a great offensive weapon. All we really need is a decent blocking TE if anything, and they're not too hard to pick up. The team has far greater needs to be filled in the draft. (pass-rushing DE, GOOD O-lineman, maybe CB, maybe a big RB/FB)
