Not that is would have mattered but...
Did anyone notice on the Cowpukes last drive, that the clock started on the snap of the ball after the Cowpukes declined the Skins offside penalty?
I thought the rule was the clock was to be restarted by the official sometime after they placed the ball?
Does anyone know for sure how this is handled?
Just curious. - Thanks!
Should some time have run off the clock?

So it does not matter that the penalty was declined? I thaught it did. I know when a penalty is excepted it restarts on the snap- I thught if the penalty was declined it would restart up[on placement (or shortly thereafter)

i couldn't even keep track of all the terrible officiating in that game. the only reason i'm not currently in jail for murdering them is because they didn't give any HUGE plays like the 1st game where they gave them a 14 point difference in the score. but allllll game long there were bogus penalties and terrible spots, that all favored the cowboys.
that being said, this is one of the occaisions this year that we actually did beat ourselves.
