Basically, he bet on having a PERFECT 100% score in the Hognostications thread last week. I said he would not. He repeated his promises. I refuted them again. We placed a bet and ...
... I won, naturally!

As if this was not enough. We have the SAME bet this week. so that the sticky stays another week with a single additional line beneath it.
To me this double pleasure. I win the bet. I am on a good path (not resting though) in this competition. And we yet have another bet:
If he does not catch up with me in the final Hognotication season score, I get to design a signature for him to wear for 200 posts. Sounds good eh?
Nobody twisted his arm. It was a free choice as far as I could tell.

Seems to me that your heart has done well enough throughout the season. Thank you very much.
I would not starting to use my head based on your good record.

Your overconbfidence will be your demise this week, RiC, as "The Redeemed One" will rise from the ashes to deliver the ONLY perfect picks of 2005, unless, of course, someone makes identical picks to mine.

Of course, I was the only one obligated to eat the sand, on account of the bet.

Given that yours are becoming the last, it would be the OTHER way around:
YOURS would become "identical" to others.
You are running out of time AGAIN. Punu will not make the same mistake twice.

What? Did you not think that SOMEBODY would notice???
You finally reached the DESPERATION and HELPLESSNESS stage Redeemed!
How LOW can one possibly go to COPY the IDENTICAL, SAME, EQUAL, EXACTLY WORD BY WORD LIST of picks made by the Sleazy Peter King AFTER he made them??? Did you think that changing the order of a few games would confuse us? Were you mightily impressed with his picks last week? I am still ahead of HIM over the season!
This is it man. To have descended to the gutter and the sewer in your desperate attempt to have a half decent score, let alone "El Perfecto" 100%!
If I remember correctly, you once had a bet that if you got less than 50% picks right you would call yourself Redeemed King as a sign of scorn for all to see. Well, this time you REALLY did it man:
Be careful gang,
REDEMMED KING is here with help from his good friend Peter King from SI.
Desperation has led you to the BOTTOM of the pitt, the bottom of the gutter, the depths of the sewer pipe, and ...
... the bottom of the scores.
If these are the picks of INTEGRITY. I will pass on "integrity". Thank you very much. At least as the rest of us see that you understand this term. (Shaking my head and

)
REDEEMED KING please do not even make an attempt to argue that this was JUST a fortuitous and random coincidence. You knew you copied them. See how you prepared the ground for it in another thread:

We ALL knew that!
You asked, bro.
But since this competition is about picking not the favourites but the true winners, What makes an obvious choice? A favourite? I beg to differ. In fact those choices are what divides the men from the children. Just look at little Redeemed.
BIG faves are obvious picks - but not necessarily correct. YOU picked the Chargers over Miami - right? How long did you think about it?
And that is why we play this game. Let's see you score this week. We recognise achievement but we also scorn failure.
Indeed.

 I hadn't noticed the Sleazy One's picks.
However, I will not be baited to changing the picks hand-delivered to me by my top-notch TRO Hognostications team. Because they are the "Picks of Integrity", they will go unchanged, as always.
What does this mean????
COME MONDAY NIGHT, YOU WILL CARRY A DOUBLE DOSE OF DISBELIEF AFTER HAVING WITNESSED BOTH THE SLEAZY ONE AND "THE REEDEEMED ONE" DOING BETTER THAN YOU!!!!!

Good thing there are plenty of free drinks in Vegas. Only that will numb the pain of seeing your perceived "lead" become nothing but a distant memory this weekend.
Have a safe trip!!!
P.S. In case you hadn't read, I'll be at the game. I'll still be anticipating the call, though, so don't let me down, bro.

Admittedly, I never spend too long on them. But, like others, I am always thinking and reading about the NFL as a fan ALL SEASON long. So, it all depends how you count.
By the way, I am picking San Diego again. And they are FAR from being considered the favourite this week. They are an obvious pick to me. THAT is what makes it interesting. The difference between good Hognosticators and
others, as you correctly point out, is the difference to identify the unexpected every week.
Whattaya wanna bet?
How about that you do not match or improve on last week's score? Fair offer last week's champ? I do not wish to be accused of only picking on the
FALLEN.

Truer words have never been spoken.
I'm expecting the unexpected, as well: to be the first Hognosticator to get the elusive perfecto, and to have RiC looking up at me from the bottom of the pack.

You are brave - after consulting my dictionary your pick is not obvious - but it may be correct. I was tempted myself by that game. But alas, I grew up watching Johnny U in Memeorial Stadium. After they went to Indy they slid down to my #2 team and the 'Skins moved up to #1. I almost hope you get this one right.
