What anti-Kirk guys? I know of several anti-bad-playing-Kirk guys, but no one that is anti-Kirk in general.

Not even. Missing an open guy is one thing - and Kirk has been called out for it. Pulling it down and taking off when 5 guys are uncovered and you have a clean pocket is another.

There are at least 2 on this board who show up after a bad game and clamor for the 3rd stringer, and then disappear after a good game.

There are 3 or 4 more who b**** about Kirk after a good game. We really need to make a list?

Much as there had been several victims of Griffin psychosis syndrome... The point being, so what?
All this squabbling over a trio of flawed quarterbacks... Serves no purpose.
Btw... I follow the Redskins, and I like Sonny. At least that controversy involved good quarterbacks...

Win lose or tie I'm here every week. Kirk, colt, or Ferrott I'm still here..
I'd temper my excitement a bit this week, this is what Kirk was SUPPOSED to do vs the lowly bucs. Look what Rookie qb Mariota did vs them! Didn't he even sit the final minutes? Maybe not..

Drew Brees didn't do it.
This SUPPOSED to do stuff is driving me nuts btw. I don't care what the Bucs w/l record is personally, those are professional football players. Lovie Smith has been a head coach for ten years and been to a Super Bowl. That team was ranked #5 in team defense coming into this game. Doug Martin is second in the league and has rushed for more yards than Adrian Peterson this season. They came in here and punched us in the mouth in the first half.
We had the same w/l record on Sunday morning. Its kind of crazy to talk like we're the Patriots and we were supposed to just steamroll that team. There are no easy games for us.

That's my point riggo. We aren't a good team, neither are they.. Mariota looked like Brady vs them too is my point.
I get the any given Sunday, every team has good players bit, I truly do. But I think you'd be lying if you told me when u looked at the schedule when u first saw "vs Bucs", and thought it'd be a shoot out, or anything other then a W.
They suck. Worst team last year, worse then even us. We are supposed to beat the lesser teams, but unlike NE we don't always do so.
The hard fighting and never giving up was a good thing to see yesterday.. making a 1 pt victory over a super crappy team isn't cause for parades tho. Had this exact game unfolded vs NE, I'd be a lot more excited today.

I said I was done debating the "which quarterback should be starting?" subject. I don't consider directly responding to a post to be trolling.

Did Mariota come from behind a 24 point deficit to win the game? Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he also only throw for 15 times that game? And didn't the Titans have a huge day running? You know, something that Cousins didn't have yesterday?

Well, I thought it was "winnable" but nothing near "anything other than a W" --- especially when you consider the fact we got shalacked against them after a bye week at home last season -- and that was against an even MORE SUPER CRAPPY team than they are this year.

Regardless, if this game proved anything it is that we have DRASTICALLY improved from last season ---- if you take the way we played against the lowely SUPER CRAPPY BUCS from last year.
The BUCS game last season was a true embarassment. The biggest we have had as an organization in quite some time -- and IMHO why we lost 5 of our last 6 games. However, this past Sunday, our team rallyed from a franchise high deficit to win. We didn't fold like we did last year. It was a good thing to see.
I find your post surprising since you are a self-proclaimed kool-aid drinker and optimist. I recall a MANY a posts from you proclaiming "a win is a win". Now we are getting a completely different poster....... Interesting.
Regardless, no NFL team is easy. We have shown we are clearly a better team compared to the one we put out there last season -- at least be happy about that. Improvement takes time, especially when you have so many weaknesses in your roster to fill in. We aren't going to put up points against NE like we did against the BUCS because NE is the best team in football. Our team isn't nearly as talented as the NYJs and it showed..... and NE is more talented than NYJ. We don't have the all around talent to come back from 24 against a disciplined and talented team like NE. So don't get too excited......

Pretty sure they never trailed to the crappy bucs...
I'm sorry if u think I'm posting anti Kirk posts.. I'm Soooooo down for this scrappy pist off Kirk that was unleashed yesterday. I won't apologize for not getting to up on beating a garbage team... We literally almost lost to. That lb holds on to that gifted game winning int, and Kirk goes from hero to ZERO, that quick. I see that. I see that we even had to climb a 24 point deficit. I also saw a lot of people give up on the team yesterday.
My biggest takeaway is the TEAM didn't give up. The D, for all their woes held strong in the 2nd half.
Kirk balled in the 2nd half too.
Much to build on. Sweet W

The team not giving up shows that they believe in Gruden. Meaning that they believe in Cousins.
And what about the 1-8 Bucs that beat us last year?
You blamed the o-line last year. And not one word was mentioned about how horrible the Bucs are. I don't consider you anti-Kirk, but you certainly post with an anti-Kirk bias.

speaking for myself, I'm glad that Cousins had a great day - I'd like to see that type of performance on a regular basis - he has 2 weeks to get ready for a good test against a very good defense - let's see how that little test goes shall we

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Of course we do. Everybody freaking knows this. But I say enjoy the hell out of this win. Get high as **** off it. Its like all we know how to do in DC anymore is complain about everything that is wrong with the team.
Yeah we won. But we had to come back to do it. wah. wah.

If you love a win as much as the next guy you wouldn't be coming on here saying we should have won and you aren't as excited as you could be. It's fine to say the BUCS are a bad team, but that shouldn't be the reason we won. Anyone with eyes could see we didn't "not lose" this game --- we won it. TRUE FANS are happy about those types of wins. As you said, you're not.
We got EMBARASSED last season against a WORSE BUCS team and you threw out excuse after excuse as to why we lost against the worst team in football --- a game that the BUCS won DECISIVELY. It was gross. Now when we win, you're not impressed. WTF?????
Please stop talking out of both sides of your mouth. It's getting old. I will continue to call you out on your bias and blatent inconsistencies, but its getting boring and easy.
