So, after all the bravado, rants, complains, promises, pledges, threats, prayers, screams, and challenges...

It all apparently ends with a wimper.

Redeemed has not EVEN put up a fight. He has not stood up to rumble in the jungle. He has not had the alledged "courage" to show up. He might have to change from orange to pink the colour of his messages.

I do not know what kind of force majeure excuses he is going to come up with later on. But bets are bets and a no-show would mean that you have decided to QUIT Redeemed.

I will even give you a few extra hours PRIOR to the start of games today to avoid ALL POSSIBLE excuses misused to argue later on.

This is a SERIOUS allegation!

OK Punu, this will either

1) TEACH you a lesson. Generosity and compassion with the far less fortunate are rewarded indeed. Not always with gratitude but with a setup to find a blatant excuse out of his responsibility as a Hognosticator; or

2) TEACH you a -different- lesson. Tampering and illegaly changing Redeemed's posts without his written consent and authorisation is an unethical and illegal act punishable under the jurisdiction of THN.

I shall await the results of the legal proceedings of this case and the Tribunal Award given by a THN Court of Law between you two to decide whether in fact this is the result of blatant ingratitude -OR- dishonourable tampering.

Redeemed has laid charges against Punu. Thus Punu is the defendant.

This case should have never gone to THN court. The prosecution has more holes in its argument than RiC does in his drawers.

In his best impersonation of Tom Sneddon, RiC fails to mention the ":wink:" TRO attached to the end of his comment.

Further, TRO's comments were posted at approximately Mon Dec 12, 2005 8:28 am (THN Time), which makes it even more clear that TRO was well aware of his doom in this week's Hognostications competition (and we use that term loosely).

Therefore, no sane Hognosticator -- and by that I mean Punu and any other Hognosticator-not-named-RiC-- would know that the author of great Hognostications staples, "Picks of Redemption/Integrity", would not seriously accuse his comrade in Skinsdom of sabotaging TRO's picks.

The personal vendetta against TRO, on RiC's part, has reached astronomical proportions resulting in this useless case against the man of integrity, the man of courage, the man of undying faith in his Skins and his ability to win another Hognostications week.

This case should be thrown out. By my own admission, my picks stand. The Picks of Integrity retain their...um... Integrity. Yeah.

True men of integrity do not use this language:

Given that you got not one, not two, not three but FOUR picks WRONG, far from El Perfecto, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that the person you mention in your post SABOTAGED your post! I am not acusing you. I am, in fact, giving you an opportunity to DEMONSTRATE that you were SABOTAGED by Punu according to your own words.

If this is the case bring some evidence up. Otherwise, all charges of tampering shall be withdrawn against Punu and we will all know that this was, as suspected but not proven, nothing but yet ANOTHER terrible excuse for dismal FAILURE!

The Judge has spoken. The Prosecutor has withdrawn the case based on the lack of credibility of the only witness and accuser, and the plaintiff has retracted from his own testimony.

The Tribunal expresses its serious concern about these false allegations and suggestions made by Redeemed. The Judge should communicate its rights to the wrongly accused Punu to start proceedings of difamation against Redeemed if he so desires for damages against his TRUE INTEGRITY.

Having clarified the issue between Redeemed and Punu as false allegations and ingratitude by the first against the second, we can proceed to do the stats.

Please check your own individual numbers!

And the winner is (drum roll): DarthMonk.

Nobody can catch up to him because all three top posters have picked Atlanta to win tonight. So, their relative positions remain unchanged.

This result proves once again that in order to win in these weekly competitions, a poster has to have a score with only one or two wrong picks. This crowd is really becoming tougher by the week.

A few people changed their picks throughout the week. But these changes -always- turned to be wrong in the end.

Redeemed would have defeated Punu this week. But how can anybody account for the ingratitude, false allegations and just blatant Machiavellian way to setup Punu for a fall from Grace? Would questioning the INTEGRITY of Punu be interpreted as a sign of friendship and loyalty by any rational and honest person? More to come on this issue from Punu and Justice as you know.

Whatever numerical value makes the difference between them this week is erased in the hearts and minds of the Court of Public Opinion at the THN Court.
