Please do not make it SO complicated that I can not afford to do the job anymore. I love doing it. But it already takes a good chunk of time. I can only afford to do weekly reasults and partial totals every four weeks. That is my comitment.

I may not be able to do it anymore if too many complexities and or more frequent updates are requested for next season.

You just keep doing what you're doing, and don't let anyone or anything change that... we're not adding this rule or that rule or this ranking or that ranking, cripes, I just thought if we dropped the worst result that it would bring a few more people into it.

And since THAT'S what TH said we'd do.... that's all we're going to do.

As for what happens with next year's article... we'll cross that bridge when we have a winner.

Also, I'm not to be considered in competition for the prizes. My record is for comparative and bragging rights purposes only. The prize goes to the person with the best record, other than the staff Hognosticator.

Thank you, Thank you! This is almost "Solomon like" in both fairness and wisdom! Almost amazing from someone in Texas!!

Great "solution" and much appreciated from someone  who had such a disaster last week making stupid decisions to try and catch "the new master".

When first read this I read it as " a good drunk of time" and thought you were joking. Actually snorted a chuckle from that.

Seriously, I think you do a bang up job. I didn't post picks, but I enjoyed watching you and Redeemed go at it. It's not unappreciated.

Thanks TH! I think this has been a lot of fun and, I may be wrong, but, I think it has been "played" fairly. I have also enjoyed all the "smack" chatter that it has generated among the participants and this continues....

Well done Ric and very well "moderated" by TH  - I look forward to a successful end to our season as well!

I will post updated statistics and I will implement the new rule to drop the worst week for each of the four Hognosticators that have participated in all NFL weeks on Tuesday, next week, after this NFL week concludes (less work  ).

But I assure you that the intitial results at the top of the standings up to now are still GOOD, VERY GOOD INDEED.

I second this motion. I too have both admired RiC's dedication to the unenviable task of monitoring Hognostications stats and STILL finding time to respond to my nonsense. Bravo, old chap!!! TRO salutes you!!!

It's been a blast. :D

I'm still for making the competition more complicated. Maybe then, RiC would be too busy messing with the points structure to really focus on the art of Hognosticating, thereby opening up the competition to everyone else.

The "Sleazy" PK picks for NFL Week 14

The "Sleazy" PK picks for NFL Week 14:

Pittsburgh
Houston
Indianapolis
New England
Oakland
Cincinnati
Carolina
Minnesota
Seattle
New York Giants
Washington
Dallas
San Diego
Denver
Green Bay
Atlanta

And he finally admitted, what we have been saying about him among other things, that he has no guts whatsoever:

If I had any guts, I would have picked the Redskins to be the sixth seed in the NFC playoffs in Monday Morning Quarterback this week. They've got a heck of a shot if they win out -- or even go 3-1 down the stretch.
Washington 27, Arizona 10

We knew that and more chicken chic! (PG)

Thanks. BUT if you think that flattery and going cushy soft on this post will inspire ANY little bit of mercy or pitty whatsoever on you, you are definitely mistaken.

You will pay, not once, but TWICE. Once as early as TUESDAY morning with a nice STICKY. Mr, you are finally going down in front of the ENTIRE board. Sorry if all of the sudden we do not see you for a while after that. (not really ROTFALMAO )

It's been fun too.

You could just keep the stats the way you have them until he end of the year and then just drop the worst result. I'm sure each individual would know what their 'adjusted' score would be for appropriate bragging rights.

Just thought it might be less of a hassle than trying to do it smack dab in the middle of things...

My 2 cents

Let one and all Hognosticators be forwarned that TODAY, Saturday, 10 December, is the last day of submissions for NFL Week 14.

No Hognostications will be accepted AFTER midnight tonight.

Chances are the "miracle man" will simply wimp out. But others are forwarned as well.

Miracles do not grow on trees SkinsJock, and apparently nor does courage to PUT UP.

So, from now on, Redimido will have to

1) receive the beautiful STICKY described a few days ago;

2) wear a signature for 200 posts designed by myself; and

3) just SHUT UP.

It was fun while it lasted but in the end Racheté went down and out on a wimper without even standing up for the fight.

Plain and simple: It was too much to ask from Redeemed.

So, after all the bravado, rants, complains, promises, pledges, threats, prayers, screams, and challenges...

It all apparently ends with a wimper.

Redeemed has not EVEN put up a fight. He has not stood up to rumble in the jungle. He has not had the alledged "courage" to show up. He might have to change from orange to pink the colour of his messages.

I do not know what kind of force majeure excuses he is going to come up with later on. But bets are bets and a no-show would mean that you have decided to QUIT Redeemed.

I will even give you a few extra hours PRIOR to the start of games today to avoid ALL POSSIBLE excuses misused to argue later on.

But send me a PM is something has really gone wrong with yours or youself.
