The problem with that question is that I'm honestly not sure of the answer at this point.

The problem with this question is that its insanely dumb.

The word "Crap" was never uttered, but it was all but implied.
So, "not all that good" is equivelent to "crap?" And what do comments about what he did in Cleveland have to do with how he played Vs. the Cowpies? And ckRGIII's last comment was about the team as a whole. Besides, you said "people" as in plural, so even if "didn't look all that good" could somehow be equated to played like crap, you still haven't showed evidence to back up your statement.

McCoy won two in a row. Griffin has lost two in a row. There's a problem right there.
Yes there is a problem there, but not the one you're thinking of. The problem is your perception that Colt or Bob won or lost those games on their own.

Why is it insanely dumb? If you believe that RGIII has the potential to be the better QB (which the coaches obviously do), then the necessary follow-up is, "How do we get him to that level?" That's where the coaches are right now. How long they will stick with Bob, before deciding that this can be accomplished is yet another question.

If Robert played as well as he is capable of? Give me a freaking break. What does that even mean at this point? How do we know that he is capable of playing any better or differently than he did in 2012? The evidence so far doesn't support it.
I'm supposed to agree that RGIII playing at his best is capable of being the next Aaron Rodgers, but Colt McCoy playing at his best is only capable of being what... Colt McCoy? Its a BS question.
I'm not advocating that we bench RGIII today and start McCoy or Cousins. But if we find over the next two or three games that he's not currently capable of playing better than he did vs. Tampa, then maybe he should be developed and groomed as the second string QB.

No one is asking you to know what the ceiling is, just make the judgement that Bob's ceiling is higher than Colt's. Where did AAron Rodgers come into this? All SJ was trying to show you is that you probably believe, as most people do, that RGIII has a higher ceiling than Colt. So shouldn't we explore how to improve his play to the next level?

You are aware that he referred to McCoy as "garbage", right?
"People" does not necessitate this board alone. Go to anything related to social media and you will see a very similar debate going on.

You're right.
Look at how good the team played compared to when McCoy was playing as compared to when Griffin played. Offense and defense played better with McCoy.

Not at the detriment to the rest of the locker room. This isn't about one guy.

lol. Yeah honestly I'm not that concerned about whether or not we can get RGIII to the "next level" at this point. I think I'd be happy just seeing him play at an adequate level. To be fair, I think he played "adequately" at Minnesota. Better than I expected coming off the ankle injury.
I still don't agree with this comparison of RGIII's ceiling vs. McCoy's or Cousins. I've made that argument myself before, but I'm just not sure what anyone is basing it on anymore other than pure athleticism. If we've all agreed now that Griffin isn't going to last in this league running around then somebody tell me what exactly makes his ceiling higher than either of the other two quarterbacks.

Look I like Colt and I wish him the best. If he can get the job and keep it more power to him.
As far as Robert, what most of us envisioned was a smart, very fast project QB. Note I said project because we all knew it would take time. We got the best rookie season any QB could wish for. Down hill from there once his knee went out. Randall Cunningham went through something similar as far as learning curve. His game got much better. I am hoping this works out. Now is the time to find out.

For the record... Deadskins asked "people". You game him "person".
just sayin... one individual does not translate to the multiples you described. Also for the record... I was among those who thought there was "something left" in Colt McCoy's tank, primarily because he had been in such crappy situations...
