That one hit yesterday made me cover my eyes. Ugh, that was a horribly ugly way his legs got twisted. I'm pretty surprised be got up from that one, and not just because of his history of knee injuries. I think many QBs would've been done after that hit.

+1 He did get a bit hobbled but he shook it off. He was limping after that shot and once the next series got going he was ok.

Ok...I don't think anyone is disputing this.

SkinsJock wrote:in your estimation, there were 3 big hits on him yesterday; yet, as injury prone as he is in your view, he still finished the game

When did I ever say he was injury prone? Stop putting words in my mouth. I said if people wanted to debate it that's fine, but everyone universally holds their breath every time he gets hit. That's it. Jesus, are you related to him or something?

I agree with this statement.

hanburgerheel wrote:So, what would it take to accept that he is an injury waiting to happen? Another season-ending injury where he is on the bench watching. 2 more? 4 more? I don't want to see the guy get crippled for life in this process!

You might not get a lot of replies to this, but I also agree with these questions. At this point it's more of a "cross your fingers" and hope he doesn't get hurt type of thing to me.

And this fan base irks the hell out of me. I've said it before, there should be no Griffin vs. Cousins/McCoy. Everyone should cheer them equally. But it's alarming to me that after the Eagles game, people were saying that Cousins proved he was a 2nd stringer since he didn't drive down the field and tie in the 4th quarter, yet Griffin does the same thing yesterday and it was Haslett's fault. The defense was giving up a ton of points when Cousins was in there as well.

If Cousins had an offensive line or for that matter, Robert did, Robert would have never had to get injured this last time. He was trying to make a play
because of pressure. Cousins wouldn't be shell shocked either. It is what it is.

No QB could sustain very many wins behind this line. Morris isn't doing as well as we know he can and I blame the line for that too. Run blocking has taken us a step back and because of that it is harder to play one-dimensional. Now that Robert is back his threat to run has opened things a bit.

Next you should take in account that neither Robert (so far this year) or Cousins has enough to over come our offense line. We have seen Robert do it before and if anyone could it would be him.

You have seen what both Robert and Cousins can do since 2012. Not sure why there is a debate at all.

I actually do too. That's not really my definition of "injury prone", but I think its a fair statement about Griffin.

meh. Come on, man. There may have been like a small handful of people saying that about Cousins, but that was definitely not the consensus, popular opinion about Cousins after the Eagles game. He played great that game and people were excited about him. The knock on Cousins had nothing to do with him failing to get the win in that game. The problem with Cousins was that it was all downhill from there, and he started losing games for us.

FWIW, C00ley has consistently said that the line has played average to above average all year, and doesn't think they should get the blame that people are slinging their way.

And Griffin looked kind of gassed at the end of the game. I'm concerned that his threat of running has depleted considerably.

Not surprising since has to have lost a lot of conditioning while he couldn't run.

He must have missed the part where Polumbus got demoted. If they had anymore upgrades trust me they would replace almost everyone on that above average line.

He's played 2 games this year, but led it to 3-6? Wow.

Well, he COULD HAVE led the team to 4-5, but that'd just be nitpicking on my part. LOL

This franchise has been at 3-6 for the last 4 seasons - and Griffin made it 10-6

Griffin has been hurt and it could be that he's injury prone but we need more to go on before he gets that label

my biggest concern about Griffin is not his injury history - my concern is how long is it going to take him to become comfortable playing again - he's NOT worried about getting hurt - he seems to lack confidence

Griffin needs to develop into the QB that both he & Gruden want - to be that QB he needs to be more confident in all his abilities

HOPEFULLY he does that soon - I still believe in this kid's upside and I hope that Gruden can re establish his confidence

I'm probably being a little harsh - after all, he's only had 1 game
