Given his inability to curb the problem I don't think he can be more than a backup in the league. He has no one but himself to blame the Skins gave him every chance.
I don't think Griffin will become an effective quarterback without running but the Skins should use their draft picks on other needs and give Griffin at least another year. Perhaps even if he doesn't develop into a quality starter he can be an adequate starter for a couple more years while they address many other needs on the roster.
When Cousins and his next coach fix his interception issue, he is going to be one hell of a quarterback. The guy only has a handful of starts and to me is full of potential greatness.

we all love Cousins too - HOWEVER - I'm sure you agree that Cousins has never shown that he might be a better QB than Griffin
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

actually - kidding aside, Cousins did show that he was a lot more comfortable with what Gruden and McVay wanted from the QB
No HC can tolerate a QB that turns the ball over (except for Coughlin & Eli) - I hope that Cousins gets it together ...
Griffin will be the QB and it will be hard not to make McCoy the back up - Cousins is a good NFL QB ...

I was proven wrong, too. I wish the best for him, as he's a man of faith, but, he needs work.
I had a wait and see approach towards Kirk. I was pulling for him during his run but he came up short. It seems he never shook off his disastrous game against NY.
