The fact that we let Clarke go over an amount of 1.5 million is ridiculous.. if we are ever to become a winner again the coaches and FO have to recognize the fact that Clarke was a vital piece of that D and that he was key to kepping Taylor happy and grounded.. but like weve all gone over time and time again our FO likes the splashy names.. resigning clarke might not ever make the front page of the sports section but making AA the highest paid safety.. thats all over sportscenter

signing AA was the worst move. why could'nt we have just signed a rookie would have been nice, and cheaper. but then again if we had not been in such a bind we would not have gotten laundry and after looking at film i am happy with him.
i just want to forget last season and look forward to our upcoming superbowl next year. HTTR

And jersey sales don't directly help the team, since the NFL shares gear revenues. . . ;)

I'm not sure if many of you guys saw the Sean Taylor interview today but I have to give him huge prop's. He handled all the questions professionally and I'm sure that we won't hear too much about his contract from here on out. I wouldn't be to surprised if we don't give him an extension at the end of the year and make it a long term deal. But we will see. I think it all hinges on how he performs this year.

And I'd like him to use the bus in future.

Everytime I read this thread, I see this post and giggle.

I would love to see an NFL player riding a Metro bus....

We don't have the public transportation thing down here yet - In Europe (and the UK) things are very different

Great article. I've always liked Springs since his days at Ohio State. He is a winner and plays his heart out. I agree that we may see a VERY good Springs this season. Ryan Clark-- grrrrrrr-- letting him go still pisses me off. Laron will help me get over it I'm sure!

Unfortunately, that falls into the "dog bites man" category. :|
