I'm not totally opposed to that but I think the focus at the wideout position should be on a big, physical receiver. I think adding a WR of that type would enhance Patten's value.

I agree 100% That thought was moreso wishful thinking. However if he's available and worthy of the pick I dont see why we wouldn't take him. Im pretty sure we could get him and a tall guy. I guess our limited picks and newfound success will hinder that a bit.

Tall physical wide receiver and O-line. Find a young corner in FA or later in the draft. Those are the thinnest areas on the team, imho, because...

D-Line: Their pass rush has gotten better lately, and there's good depth.

TE: How's that Johnson guy doing? He's 6'6" and can catch.

Linebacker: McCune should be ready to crack heads if necessary.

Betts leaving?: The coaches seem to like Broughton.

With a horse of an O-lineman in the wings, a big slot receiver, and a little padding at DB, the Redskins are consistant and lethal!

Well, if they are gonna give Cambell the ball next year, then they should really look at beefing up the O-line weather that is through the draft or free agency. I would like to see a dominate DE.

With the type of Offense Gibbs runs, we need help on the OL. Our key to victory is dominating the line of scrimmage. This site is called THE HOGS.net for a reason.
I agree that we need to address the other positions mentioned and that our line will be a more cohesive unit next year. Randy Thomas' injury really hurt us. Big Ray did an admirable job filling in, but it just wasn't the same as having RT pulling out in front of CP. Ray and DD just get in the way when they pull.
With Ray retiring we don't have any servicable backup guards. Actually we do, but he is starting and wears #66. We need a starting Left Guard through free agency. Atleast motivate 66 to earn his spot. Then we need bigger, stronger and faster depth.

As long as our OL needs are met I think we need another stud WR and depth for our defense.

Our biggest weakness is Offense. Our defense is capable of winning a championship as is. We need depth, but not starters on that side of the ball.

Yes, OL! that is key to winning. It all starts at the line, it is the most important part of the offense. Without that QB's and RB's are worthless. A great OL can make a average QB and RB look pretty good. So, who ever starts next year at QB we ned to give him a VISA card! Ask Brady about his pocket of protection.
