Me, too. If I'd only picked the Gints, I'd be gaining ground on you, RiC. But, needless to say, my boldness and "outspokenedness" has paid off quite handsomely this week.

Looks like tonight's game will be the deciding factor in this week's final standings. The "Picks of Redemption" could be just that.

I'm hating the fact that Tampa has layed two eggs in a row, right before they play us at home. Hopefully they won't get it together for another week.

This is one of those VERY strange weeks in which the teams that were supossed to win, actually DID! It is crowded at the top among the 12 - 01 scores with five posters! Everybody got GREAT scores. Punu's score is as high as the winner's in other weeks. :celebrate:

Texas Hog must be feeling pretty A-W-F-U-L just about NOW. If he had had some FAITH in the Washington Redskins his record would have been PERFECT! :nana:

Joebagadonuts and Justice achieved their higher scores to date. This is going to be VERY tough competition during the second half of the season.

Tazlah had a pretty strong showing as a rookie in this tough league. If only she had known that Raiders do not often win in Kansas ...

CLL rose from among the ashes. He is showing progressive improvement just like the Skins after a tough loss.

FanfromAnnapolis unfortunately did not join us this week to post predictions. :(

As usual, please do not trust my numbers and check your own. Let me know if I made any mistake. So far ( by score and in alphabetical order after that):

12 - 01 Joebagadonuts + + + + + + + - + + + + +
12 - 01 Justice Hog + + + + + + + - + + + + +
12 - 01 Redeemed + + + + + + + + + - + + +
12 - 01 Redskin in Canada + + + - + + + + + + + + +
12 - 01 Texas Hog + + + + + + + + + + + + -

10 - 03 Chris Luva Luva + - + + + + + - + - + + +
10 - 03 JSPB22 - + + - + - + + + + + + +
10 - 03 SkinsJock + + + - + + + + + - + - +
10 - 03 1niksder + + + + - - + + + + - + +
10 - 03 skinz74 + + + - + + + - - + + + +
10 - 03 Tazlah + + + + + - + + - + - + +

09 - 04 Punu + - + + - - + - + + + + +

The "Sleazy" PK:

08 - 05 PK - + - - + + + + - + + + -
EVERYBODY has a better score than he "Sleazy" one up to now. :puke: Precious!

Go Colts! (to separate the good Hognosticators from the lucky ones). \:D/

I don't feel awful at all! O:)

I knew if I picked us to lose, we'd win! A little reverse psychology, I guess.

Definitely a strange week for everyone to win that was supposed to. Berman and Jackson even talked about that.

I'll be honest -- when I previewed my post, I actually changed Oakland to KC; but then thought better of the change: "Go with your first choice" is what we've always been told... so, I changed back to Oakland. Had I changed it to KC, the football gods would have inevitably had the last laugh and Oakland would have won!

And Chicago/New Orleans was a case of rooting for the underdog... NO almost got it! 8)

Or maybe he was overcome by his fear of the "Picks of Redemption", after the BOLD declaration. :-"

You are -ahead- of a full-time "professional sports writer" paid in real US dollars by Sports Illustrated. This is a tough crowd that's all.

Now, if you -really- want to win one week, here is the "secret" recipe: :o

1) Look at the "Picks of Perdition" and throw them away.

2) Read the Hognostications on the front page of the website every week by Texas Hog, and those prepared by RiC in these threads.

3) Now ask yourself the question: What game did these geniuses could have possibly gotten wrong? If you guess right, you got it!

4) If guessing the few wrong ones from us is not your thing, you can really apply the real "secret" Hognostications/Ric recipe:

a) Look at the matches and ask what makes more sense to you based on what you know instead of the result of the last game.

b) do not pay attention to ANYBODY (oooops!), including the Vegas predictions, and go with your comon sense and post without too much care about the final count.

c) whatever you do, do not spend more than 15 minutes making your predictions.
