I think you have it backwords wollman, we said portis couldn't run cause brunell couldn't throw deep. Thats still the case. Luckily the bears defense is horrid and we exploited it. What are the bears? The 28th ranked Passing Defense, and we got less then 100 yards agaist them. Thats pathetic. Joe Gibbs is making a horrible mistake here. The rest of the season we play good offenses. If we give up 17 points to any team we will lose. Normally, holding someone to 17 will give you a win, but not with our offense.

Re: Gibbs is as freakin' Ramsey hater-yes or no?

WTH? :x

Have fun with that... Ridiculous.

Portis ran crazy aganist the Bears and Brunell still wasn't able to hit anyone. 8-22 for only 95 yds, I mean come on.

Oh, come on, wollmang!!! Stop piling on Brunell. HE'S PLAYING FOR HIS THIRD COACH IN THREE YEARS!!! He also just had to relocate his family to the area, he's adjusting to the cooler climate, he's getting over a bad hammy, and don't forget THE DC AREA TRAFFIC!!!! Have a heart. Don't be so hard on the guy.

I understand how though if has to be on him playing under three different coaches in three years and also relocating his famliy but what I don't understand is why he only looks at one side of the field when he is in the pocket. A good QB can see the whole field and what is going on around him. Brunell just hasn't been able to do that, all he sees is one side of the field and focuses in on one reciever most of the time. If Gibbs and Jack Burns are able to correct that problem than I think Brunell will do just fine and the offense will be able to finally put up some points. Hopefully during these next two weeks they will try and correct that problem.

CAN U BLAME HIM???!!!! Do you know how much damage the DC AREA TRAFFIC can cause on the psyche of a QB in Mark's situtation???? I mean, COME ON!!!!! That's just not fair to ask him to balance the fear of "Big City Drivers" and learning a new system. I think his looking to one side is attributed to his habit of looking at his blindside to avoid accidents on the region's major thoroughfares.

We're all to blame. We need to drive with more caution. You never know when our frantic starting QB is in the lane next to us when we cut him off.

The debate keeps going because Brunell can't throw for over 100yds.

How in gods name do we get 20 first downs and only throw for 88 yds??????

AND only score 13 points against this sad team.

The good thing is the Packer d-fense realy stinks on ice. I got two weeks to get psych'd.
