I think if I had to pin point one area I'd say the coaches were schooled and put our guys in poor position to be successful.

Man, I just hate this type of lazy criticism. (Not to call you out specifically, just the comment.) How many turnovers did we have? 4 or 5? And we're blaming the coaches for "not putting our guys in position to be successful"??? Come on. Players lost that game.

I just think we have Kirk a lot more credit for beating a horrible team, but had a lot of support.

I don't really agree with your comment about Cousins v. the Panthers, but I did say last week vs. the Saints I thought that performance was as much or more about the team as it was about Kirk. I actually didn't think Cousins was "spectacular" v. NO. Defense was good. Running backs made big plays. WRs caught their passes. And Cousins basically did a good job.

You have to be careful about this horrible team stuff though. Were you one of the guys saying it wasn't a big accomplishment to beat Tampa on that comeback a few weeks ago? Since we beat them, the Bucs have won 3 of their last 4 including a 45-17 win over the Eagles last weekend.

This is not oversimplification... much of the O line's woes can be summed up in one word... Leribus. No one knew when the hell the ball was going to be snapped... I doubt he plays this week.

I think the coaches are definitely to blame... Seeing the team visibly give up after the flag, Hatcher even talking about it after the game like one of us on here- tells me we lack a general. No one rallied the troops, or put it on them to "make em pay for getting that wrong". I get some coaches have different poker faces, but Gruden gets his deflated out gunned look on his faces and its infectious to the whole team moral. Just my opinion.

Its just mushiness. Gruden didn't rally the troops enough... Come on, man. Rah rah speeches don't win games. The games are won on the field by players who don't fumble the ball away four times. Just my opinion.

there's plenty of areas of improvement needed - by both coaches and players

coaches have to do a better job and help players eliminate the stupid penalties like jumping offsides and false starts

When we are seeing some very good players miss tackles and dropping easy passes, that's on the players

call it mushiness or whatever - we do not win games where we have these issues


tomorrow is all about executing by the players and a game plan that includes running the ball more than 15 times - If we lose and play well, it's on the players ... but if we lose and play badly, like last Sunday, that's on the coaches because this giants team really sucks

If you think moral and and momentum aren't VAST parts of the game, then we can end the conversation there.

He NEEDS to do something as a leader... Haven't we had this "manager" conversation? When my employees weren't performing I took that as a wake up call to make sure I WAS. He didn't have to get loud, or even give a speech... But he DID need to redirect the players after the penalty and he certainly needed to light a fire... Maybe that means go talk to your most vocal vet, and have HIM get the squad fired up.

We turned the ball over 5 times in that game man. That allowed us to run 13 offensive plays in the first half. We came out to start the second half with a chance to get back in the game and turned it over again on the first place. That stuff has nothing to do with the coach providing moral support on the sideline.
