Poor OL.
Terrible defensive game plan.
How long before our brand new QB ends up in the hospital?
And people were saying that we were alright at OL and there were only a few "questions" about our secondary.![]()
I do not think I have seen a worse Redskins defense in my entire life as a Skins fan going back to 1969.
This is EMBARRASSING.![]()
Somebody MUST be accountable for this mess.
People were saying we were alright at O line so long as Trent didn't go down early. I don't remember anyone saying that they were comfortable with Black as the swing tackle. Trent did go down early and the worst nighmare came true. What most folks defending the O line were saying is we don't need numbers we need quality and most fans defending the O line understood that the $36 mil hit might have altered the ShanAllen plan when it came to the O line.
Now here are the questions that I have for Shanny and our O line.
Why did the Rams make due with picking up Wayne Hunter from the Jets and we stayed with Black or why did Shanny let Willie Smith go and stay with Black? These are not numbers questions, but quality.
To me here lies the problem. Black as your swing tackle. Last year it was Locklear as your swing tackle. That is Shanny making personnel decisions. What is he thinking? I don't know.
We have depth (at guard). We have O line draft choices. The real question is do we have the right guys as depth and for tackle position and the answer is clearly no.
