Hognostications 2011 Season

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Really? How? Who has obtained more top 3 places in this tounament through theyears? Have you added all the wins over the whole set of Hognostications? Can you post this number if you have it?

That is true and credit goes to you for that. But the previous one? Mmmm Doubt it very strongly. :hmm:

Absolutely, I can back it up. I'll have to go back through my posts, but I did a tally a couple of years ago and it wasn't even close. You and I were neck and neck for the title at one point, but you dropped out mid-season one year, and I pulled away.

Funny thing is that while the man has (presumably) 'established' this great number of correct picks (again .. presumably)
It's kind of 'interesting' that he's NEVER received a pm from Hoss about getting a 'title' under his avatar

maybe Hoss could add one for him - with an asterisk, of course

INTERESTING to me - probabaly VERY frustrating to our un-recognized hognosticator

maybe this is the year - maybe not - these guys are tough :)

good luck guys - and may the REAL best hognosticator be the winner again
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Even after your horrible last season? Not at all!!!

Again, if you talk the talk, you must back it up with the walk. Numbers per season and total numbers, please.

Is there any historical collection of how people did in the past? This is just my third year hognosticating, it'd be interesting to see.

There's only ever been one asterisk. And that's on SJ's tainted 2008 championship*.

I'll get to it eventually. It's going to take some time to do all that digging, but I'm confident the numbers are there. BTW you were talking about my horrible season last year, but as of week 16, I only trailed you by 4 games. I started slow, but came on strong at the end.

Everyone kept saying as redeemed was in the lead last year going into the second half of the season he'd tank. Wow, he dive bombed. It was hard to witness. I was neck and neck with him and suddenly he was swimming in the ocean...

Who's whining? There's only one season in which I was robbed by a faulty piece of software (the only week since the begining of Hognostications I supposedly didn't make my picks), every other year I have been respectably consistent, but not good enough to beat the eventual champion. I started really slow last year, or I might have given Kazoo a run. But it's not like anyone else has managed to repeat, or even win a second title. Not only that, I own the only perfecto and the overall title (mostly because I'm one of the few to have played every season) which I will eventually prove by digging through the old threads.

Riggo! My favorite Redskin memory. No matter how many Super Bowls we win, the first is always special.

BTW, I wanted to mention that I know people put Hognostications champion on their avatar. I don't want to do that. No disrespect either to Hognostications or to anyone else who did it, but I keep my degrees and awards in my office at home. At work I like people not to listen to me because of any degree or title that I have but that I make sense. Not that it's exactly the same, but it's not my personal style to put that sort of thing on my avatar.

No, it doesn't and no one asked me if I want it to or not, I just wanted to put it out there that I don't want it to. I don't know how the process works for that.
