Competion for the kicking job here should continue ... ad infinitum
If the kicker cannot make an incredibly high percentage of FGs inside of 30 yards ... he's most likely out of a job

Let's cut the whole team every Sunday night and make them earn their jobs back every week

Gano isn't helping himself today, doesn't say what distance these are from but misses aren't going to help him.
-- Working on field goals, and Graham Gano is the only kicker left in camp with Shayne Graham released on Sunday. At one point, Gano missed three consecutive attempts -- that's no way to secure the Redskins' job. Head coach Mike Shanahan said there's a chance the Redskins could still bring in competition for Gano.

we need to continue to look at kickers until Gano shows that he's going to be a lot more dependable
at this time we have nothing to lose from keeping the pressure on Gano
