wow, you guys took that one a little to literal. I am not stupid. I know that he made more than one mistake. So did everyone else on the field.
When I said Malcolm was nowhere to be found I was saying I couldnt see his 6 4 body, I was saying he didn't do anything. And that is not all his fault, a lot to do with the play calling as you said.
I like ARE as a slot receiver. thats where he needs to be. I was saying that he was the only receiver catching the ball and creating separation in his routes.
Be careful how you interpret stuff

How were we supposed to interpret that?

that everyone needs to ease on up just the qb as everyone always puts all the blame on him. I know JC is not the greatest, and i know he puts us through a lot, but he is our best option this year. I was saying that we through only to our slot receiver and tight end the whole game. I wasn't bashing ARE. I have been wanting him in the slot for 2 years.

If it were that he didn't really make any plays until the game was effectively over and had that been his only major gaffe, then sure it was would have been taking it "a little to literal." The point is he made three MAJOR mistakes, that's not taking you a "little to literal" it's saying you were wrong. The INT, not stepping up in the pocket and burning the two time outs all seriously hurt us. Even had he only burned one time out, we'd have gotten the ball back (assuming the Giants didn't get a first down) with a little time. The time outs frustrate me particularly because it's like his decision making when he drops back, S-L-O-W. He's not a starter, he's a backup starting.

Dude (Grampi), take it easy. Yes, I agree they looked horribly reminiscent of late last season, but it's early. The Skins are a good football team that will win plenty of games this year. I'm not saying there going all the way or anything. But once they build a little confidence against some weaker opponents they'll be fine. It's a long season and a lot can happen, you remember the 05' season right? The Giants are a tough measuring stick considering they may compete for the SB this year. Wait a couple weeks, see how they perform against weaker teams and we'll take it from there.....capice paisan.

Seriously, right?
I'm sure there are other teams to root for, and if you can't stomach rooting for someone else, maybe there's some tennis or golf on.

Sorry, I disagree. The Skins are NOT a good football team. They are mediocre at best, and I think their record this year will reflect a sub-mediocre team.

I love this team, which is why it makes me sick to my stomach to have to watch them field embarrassing teams year after year. If you truely loved this team you'd be sick of it too. It's way past due for this team to once again rise to greatness.

Here's the difference between us, then. When the Redskins return to glory, it will be spurred on by my actions as a fan . . . it won't be
in spite of my actions as a fan.

I do not condone blind pessimism as much as I do not condone blind optimism. Both trades are not signs of good fanhood. It should not come down to judge or doubt each others' loyalty or love for the team.
I do understand the joy and optimism among fans and
I do understand the pain and pessimism among fans both of whom love their team.
There are reasons to remain optimistic and there are reasons to be pessimistic about another mediocre season. But there should never be lack of support for our team at all times. And I do not read anybody lacking in support regardless of the attitude that fans have towards this season. It is not fair to ask somebody to give up on the Skins by some of the optimistic fans who claim to love their team so much.
I hope that the Skins improve and do so quickly so that these sad threads can disappear. I truly hope so.
Hail brothers!

Opening your eyes, realizing the team isn't good, and complaining about it isn't a bad thing. It shows you want the team to do better. Now if I was to come in here and say I'm through with this team and will have nothing to do with them, that's another thing altogether.......

This team has given me nothing since 1992 to be a "glass is 1/2 full" kind of guy.

There is actually an inverse correlation between complainers and people who actually want things to be better. Complainers like to complain and always find something wrong with everything.

These threads will never disappear. Complainers will still be complainers and optimists will still be optimists. It's easiest for people to be what they are when we were an 8-8 team because there is enough positive and negative to feed anyone's nature. But even if we're 0-16 or 16-0, people will just be looking for a reason to gravitate to their disposition.

I disagree. Negativity feeds on itself, and becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. This team can win the SB if you believe hard enough.

You wouldn't have heard me complaining about anything when the Skins won their last SB.
