What are you talking about? We're 'not nice' because we won't change the rules of a game that's been running for 3 full seasons to suit
your needs?
Well as long as you're not thinking only of yourself.
Why don't you run along and see if you can find a 'nice' pool to play in then? Go find one that you can jump right in at week five and not be penalized for missing the first four weeks.
Because that's really fair to those who DO play each and every week. So tell me, if we went solely on winning percentage, what would stop somebody from just playing the FINAL week, hoping for a great winning percentage and winning the pool? Your idea of 'fair' is to let the guy who picked 16 games have his record go up against a guy that had picked in 200+ games?
Brilliant. And definitively 'fair'.
The rules aren't changing, and you're still a
traitor.
Good luck with your picks everybody.

There are a whole bunch of good scores (12 - 1, 11 - 2 and 10 - 3) so far but none is perfect this week. Green Bay and New Orleans threw their games away.
HOOKBASSGA (which I suppose is a Georgia fan who likes to go fishing for a delicious lake fish) keeps an impressive and unbeatable pace. Otherwise, not a great week for some "formerly leading" posters ...
Not a surprise but still something to smile about.

Hopefully I didn't do too bad this week. I'll be satisfied with staying stagnant but I definitely don't want to drop down.

It was an easy week to go 12-2, and a few of us did as well. Now it comes down to the tie-breaker. I had 45, only 4 off. Anyone do better?

But were they 12-2 also? If so, looks they they tied for first.

Looks like everyone tied this week with zero correct picks.

Nope. There was at least one poster with a 13 - 1 record

I did not win but thanks. I ended up tied in second with a bunch of others at 12 - 2, including several at the ESPN crowd.
Be patient people. Today is the next day of a Thanksgiving Holiday in Canada. Even the Admin is able to take a break every now and then.

What is Canada giving thanks for? That you don't have our President for a leader?

Congratulations to HOOKBASSGA with a 13 - 1 record this week. The guy/gal is beating our bum handily.
There are 11 posters tied in second with 12 - 2 and thirteen tied in third with 11 - 3. Not bad for a bunch of amateurs compared against the professional "experts" at ESPN.
The season standings are tighter this week with one exception. The leader HOOKBASSGA is truly running away from the rest of the pack. He is already more than 10 games ahead of most. It is going to be pretty difficult to catch up to him/her during the rest of the season, not impossible though.
See the weekly standings
HEREand the season standings
HERE.
Thanks to BossHog for the work and keeping this competition alive over the entire season. Thanks to Texas Hog for his advice. Those that read it had a good score this week AGAIN.

Thanks for the update, RiC, and thanks, too to everyone involved. HOOKBASSGA is really handing it to us. Good thing I had a good start, since the rest of the field is improving. Otheriwse, I'd be right around where RiC finds himself right now.

Well, I think it's time to start asking who this HOOKBASSGA character is. If it wasn't for him/her, I'd be running away with this competition. As it is, I'm well placed to storm into mid table soon...

If I'd only been paying attention and gotten one more right....that tiebreaker sure would've been nice
