The Hogster wrote:Okay here's the question to the fans. If you answer NO to any of the below questions, please pm me, we need 2 give u a pep talk :D .

1. Do you watch every Skins Game?
2. Do you think we have a chance at the beginning of each game?
3. Do you root for us or against us?
4. Do you believe we have a chance until the game is over?
5. Do you believe that the team plays to win?

If you answered yes, then congratulations, you're a great Skins Fan...if you answered NO that's cool, but dont dampen the spirits of others who have high expectations.

As for question one...i strongly advocate getting NFL Sunday ticket if you have DirectTV.. once you get it, you will not want to go back to regional coverage ever again. Good Post

I'll put 100 dollars on the fact that the skins will be .500....other than that, I think i'll keep my money in my wallet

I love that Song!

And don't confuse my cautious optimize with loyalty (or lack of) to my Skins. My being overly optimistic hasn't helped them the last few years so now I am trying something new! We all have our superstitions!

Am I the only one that keeps checking this thread for a punchline from Mike?

Gus Ferotte will break Paytons TD record next year with hooking up to David Boston for more than 1/3 of those. Brings back memories of Ferotte going deep with Moss!!! Also Miami will have 2nd best defense, since we will be number 1. There defense will allow them more chances on offense to score with David Boston.

Oh man thanks... that was good.

The same David Boston that they released when he failed the physical you mean? ?

That was worth the wait.

D.B. broke his leg in pre-season and you watch they will go 11+ games next year.

You gotta give it to him Boss man! He knows the words to that song.

You don't seem to understand Mike... they cut David Boston last week when they signed Kevin Carter. He won't be catching any balls for the Dolphins this year, though the latest rumor has the 49ers looking at him.

There goes 1/3 of that Dolphins passing attack.

In the spirit of the thread title... care to make a bet? I bet ya a dollar that David Boston doesn't catch one football for the Dolphins this year.

Mike's prediction could have been made with the knowledge that Miami was going to acquire that well known FB, Heath Evans, formerly with Seattle!

Exactly with Gus as their quarterback!

I hate the negative crap as much as anyone Hogster, but the thought of Brunell being our QB for one game, let alone the rest of the season just makes me sick. Nothing will change that except for beating teams that we would have with Patrick starting. We would have beat the Cowboys this week with Patrick starting. If Brunell pulls through and gets that job done, then I'll start feeling less crappy...

Watching Mark play last year was the worst thing I've ever endured as a Redskin fan. I realize he wasn't healthy, but in the Chicago game he did the exact same things he did last year. He doesn't even consider the long receiver, he immediately checks off to the short routes. That cannot beat good teams on a consistent basis. We have a chamionship squad here. All we need is a QB who can get it done. It just makes me sick.

So why rehash last year... It's getting old and if I keep reading about it my ulsers may return.... Let it go, last year was last year. It's 2005

  Be Honest... who do you want facing that teamin Texas :?: :?:

The vids wouldn't play for me 1nik :(

I'm feeling a bit better now. I think I've basically come to realize that both our QBs just aren't very good and we'll probably do just as well with either one. Our defense, running game and coaching staff might be able to pull us through quite a few games. I sure hope Campbell is the answer next season. I really do think that all we need is a solid QB. I'd really hate to waste our team. Especially since it took us so long to get to this point.
